The Adrian College Men’s basketball represented the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association in the NCAA DIII Basketball Tournament on Friday night, and fell to nationally-ranked North Central College (Ill.) 69-54.

Jordan Harris led the Bulldogs in scoring with 18 points, and Jeremy Kalonji contributed 17. Those were the only two double digit scorers for Adrian College on the night.

Ke’ Shaun Wyatt-Morris had 8 points on the night, while pulling in 6 rebounds off the bench. The Bulldogs struggled from three, only making 4 shots from beyond the arc (Harris and Kalonji with 2 each).

The North Central Cardinals shot 46.9% from the floor, while holding Adrian to 31.5%. The Cardinals made 37.5% of their three point shots, and AC shot 20%.

Connor Raridon lead NCC with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

An unfortunate end to an excellent season of Bulldog basketball. Adrian was picked by the MIAA coaches in the pre-season to finish last in the league, but the Bulldogs grabbed the number three seed in the conference tournament… defeated Hope College, Calvin University, and Trine University to capture the MIAA Tournament Championship. This was the first trip to the NCAA DIII Men’s Basketball Tournament for Adrian College.
