ADRIAN, Mich.– The Adrian College Men’s NCAA Hockey team will be back in action this weekend, as they face Northern Collegiate Hockey Association opponent Aurora University in the Harris Cup Quarterfinals.
There will be a game on Friday (2/21) at 7:05 p.m. and a second game at 3:05 p.m. Saturday (2/22) at the Arrington Ice Arena.
Basically, it is a race to 3 points to advance to the semifinals. The winner of each game is awarded 2 points and a tie is worth 1.
Adrian, which is listed sixth in the new U.S. College Hockey Online Division III national rankings, is the top overall seed in the NCHA Harris Cup playoffs after winning the Peters Cup, their 11th conference championship in program history.
Adrian is one of the hottest teams in the country with a nine-game winning streak that has produced 53 goals while limiting opponents to 18. The Bulldogs are 17-5-3 on the season, including a final conference record of 15-3-2. During the regular season, Adrian swept Aurora on the road by identical 4-2 scores on November 30, and December 1.

#1 Adrian College vs #4 Aurora University
#2 Lake Forest College vs #3 Trine University
North Division
#1 Marion University vs #4 College of St. Scholastica
#2 St. Norbert College vs #3 Lawrence University
The winner of the North Division will play the winner of the South Division for the Harris Cup Championship. The game will be played at the higher seed.
