KANSAS CITY — The 18th-ranked Siena Heights women’s basketball team was one of the 32 teams announced in the 29th annual National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) DII Women’s Basketball Championship bracket that is set to take place from March 11-17 at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The Saints were given a five seed and will face fourth-seeded Bryan (Tenn.) in the Liston Bracket on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 5:15 p.m., EST.
This year’s field consists of 25 automatic berths and seven at-large spots. Automatic qualification is given to conference regular-season champions, regular-season runners-up, tournament champions or tournament runners-up depending on the league.
This is the Saints’ fifth time qualifying for the NAIA National Championship tournament, their first since 2017.
