Blissfield softball took two from Hudson on Tuesday, 5-4 and 8-4.
Grace Nieman earned the win for the Royals in game one. She surrendered seven hits and four runs…one earned…over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Nieman also led Blissfield at the plate with three runs batted in…going 2-for-4 in the game. Maci Godfrey led Hudson in game one with two runs batted in, going 1-for-3 in the contest.
Game two the Tigers started off hot and out hit Blissfield 12-10, but lost 8-4. McKenna Mull, Maci Godfrey, Sam Anderson and Rihanna Ramirez collected two hits each.
Hudson will host East Jackson on Thursday.

Clinton softball took two from LCAA foe Madison on Tuesday, 13-0 and 15-0. The Trojans record falls to 6-6 in the league, and 14-9 overall.
Madison will travel to Summerfield on Thursday

Tecumseh softball swept SEC White for Adrian on Tuesday, 16-2 and 15-2.
Maya Juozapaitis went 5 for 5 with two RBIs and three runs scored. McNamara had 4 RBIs to lead the Tribe in the 16-2 win.
Torres had 4 RBi’s to pace Tecumseh in the 15-2 win. Adrian’s Slavin knocked in three of the four Maples runs on the day

Madison baseball won the first game of their series with Clinton Tuesday night, 5-1. Game 2 was suspended after 4 innings due to darkness and will be completed at Clinton Thursday prior to the third game of the series.
Bryson Ballantyne earned the win for Madison. He surrendered one hit and one run over four and one-third innings, striking out six and walking three. Zack Andrews took the loss for Clinton. He went four innings, surrendering four earned runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking three. Kason Snyder collected the save for the Trojans.
Brooks Horwath went 1-for-3 at the plate and led Madison with two runs batted in.
Roman Roberts, Cliff Jones, and Wyatt Cooley each collected one hit for the Redwolves.

The Adrian Maples and Tecumseh Indians baseball teams split their doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. John Koehn called both games on 96.5 The Cave and 965thecave.com…
Adrian will head north to take on Tecumseh Thursday to complete their three game SEC White series.

The Adrian College men’s and women’s rowing teams concluded their season over the weekend at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta.
In the women’s Doubles event, Gianna Morreale and Lily Koepfler earned a runner-up finish.
The Dad Vail Regatta concludes the 2025-26 season for the Adrian College rowing teams.

College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams were announced for men’s and women’s tennis on Tuesday afternoon. Three Adrian College Bulldogs were honored.
Hye Jin Elliott, Sean Ruhf, and Luke Holowinski received the recognition.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District award, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher
Be at least a sophomore academically and athletically
And compete in at least 75% of the team’s scored events during the 2025-26 season

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced the 2026 Baseball Coach of the Year Award on Tuesday afternoon..and earning the honor for the third consecutive season was Adrian College’s Craig Rainey.
The veteran coach guided the Bulldogs to another MIAA Regular Season Championship, an MIAA Tournament Championship, and the program’s 18th NCAA Regional appearance.
Now in his 33rd season leading Adrian College baseball, Rainey has compiled an overall record of 874-520, good for a .627 winning percentage.
Rainey also earned the MIAA Coach of the Year Award in 2024, when the honor was first introduced, and again in 2025, making him the only coach to receive the award in conference history.
