Madison boys Track and Field improved to 5-0 in the LCAA with wins over Hillsdale 92-45 and Dundee 87-50.
The girls improved to 4-1 in the LCAA defeating Hillsdale 128-6 and Dundee 73-64.
Trenton Fetter won the 800, 1600 and 3200 runs for the boys, while Nathan Mullins picked up wins in the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles. For the girls, Iyana Borders won the Shot Put and Discus.

The Ida Blue Streaks won the 2nd LCAA golf jamboree of the season, hosted by Shaffer’s Evergreen Golf Course in Hudson.
Devin Rhoades of Ida was medalist of the event, shooting an even-par 36. Blissfield’s Jayson Robinson fired a 38. Clinton’s Brandon Ruhl, Madison’s Cameron Mahony, and Onsted’s Jayden Valasek all shot a 39. Terrell Williams had a 42, the low score for Hudson.
As a team, Clinton was second place, followed by Onsted, Madison, Hillsdale, Dundee, Blissfield, and Hudson
The next event will be held May 6th at Rustic Glen Golf Course in Saline… hosted by Clinton.

Sophia Rink had eleven saves, Tatum Borton scored twice to pace the offense, as the Adrian girls soccer team beat SEC White foe Chelsea, 5-1.
Jaleigh Niese, Sophia Hassan, and Laniah Ybarra had single goals for the Maples.

The Sand Creek baseball team fell to Erie Mason in the first of two scheduled games on Wednesday, 9-4. The second game was tied at four in the top of the fourth inning, and was suspended due to weather.
In the first game, Ivan Wilkinson had a triple and two RBI’s. Carter Bettcher and Chase Voorhees each had RBI’s for Sand Creek.
The Aggies are scheduled to play two against Concord today at 4pm at Adrian College.

Summerfield baseball took two from Lenawee Christian, 3-2 and 12-1. Elijah Paschal and James Reatherford had the RBI’s for the Cougars.
Colton Clymer was solid on the mound…pitching five innings. He struck out 11 batters and walked 4. The hurler allowed 2 earned runs and walked four.
In game two, Nolan Robinson and Liam McElroy had two hits for LCS.

Onsted took two baseball games from Blissfield on Tuesday, 15-2 and 7-4. Preston Iffland had both RBI’s for Blissfield in game one.
In game two, the Royal’s AJ Cantu pitched three innings and allowed no earned runs for the Royals. Landon Seifert had two RBI’s for Blissfield.

Lenawee Christian School has announced new leadership in the Athletic Department. Former Siena Heights University Head Football Coach Matt Kohn has been named Athletic Director, and former Adrian College quarterback Noah Beaudrie as Assistant AD…beginning June 1st.

The Adrian College softball team has been led all season by Taylor Gear-hart, pacing the team with a .496 batting average. The junior outfielder was highlighted by her coach Kaylie Fox following AC’s recent sweep of Manchester University…
Coach Fox and the Bulldogs traveled for a final time this season on Wednesday afternoon as they took on Saint Mary’s College… winning game one 14-1 and losing game two, 4-1.
Adrian tallied 14 hits in game one, with two from Taylor Gerhardt. She led the ‘Dawgs with four RBIs. Avery Clark earned her ninth win on the rubber after tossing a complete game.
Adrian finished game two with four hits including one from Gerhardt. Lillian Utrup started on the rubber tossing four innings allowing two earned runs on eight hits. Clark returned to pitch in relief allowing one run on three hits in three innings.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday for Senior Day, when they host The University of Olivet starting at 1PM.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its All-MIAA men’s tennis teams, with Adrian College earning one selection… Michael Mascarin was named Second Team All-MIAA.

Adrian College Athletics has announced the hiring of Samuel Chaney as the new Head Coach of the men’s rugby program.
Chaney joins Adrian after serving as the forwards and player development coach at Iowa Central Community College, where he led practice planning and oversaw the program’s offseason training, including strength and conditioning, field work, and skill development.
Prior to his time at Iowa Central, he gained collegiate coaching experience as a volunteer intern and forwards coach at McKendree University.
Coach Chaney will begin his coaching responsibilities where he will begin recruiting and preparing for the 2026-27 seasons.

Siena Heights women were led by NAIA “A” standard performances from Emma Valentine and Emma Stewart, followed by an NAIA “B” standard from Jenna‑Ann Johnson, as all three Saints captured event victories at the Don Kleinow Invitational on their home track.
The men were led by event victories from Jeremiah Bullis and Calvin Randolph.
