Adrian, MI – Three Lenawee County girls basketball teams won district championships Friday night…Tecumseh, Blissfield, and Morenci.
In Tecumseh, the Indians captured the title on their home floor, defeating Lenawee County foe Madison 69-30. Tecumseh was led in points by Allie Zajac (21) and Addie Zajac (14). Madison’s Nevaeh Parish had 16 points, and Caylan Sower added 6 for the Trojans.
Blissfield was victorious over Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic Central Friday night, 51-38. The Royals were led in scoring by Leigh Wyman (18) and Peyton Tennant (10).
Morenci defeated Pittsford on their home floor, 46-27. Emersyn Bachelder paced the Bulldogs with 17 points, and Evelyn Joughin had 12 points in the win.
The Onsted Wildcats hosted a district title game Friday, and lost to Columbia Central, 55-35. The Cats were led in scoring by JayElle Christian with 11. Kayla Gerken had 6 points.

Tecumseh will travel to Charlotte for a D2 Regional Semifinal game Monday at 5:30pm vs. Parma Western. John Koehn will have that game on 96.5fm The Cave.
Blissfield will head to Onsted to battle Columbia Central Monday at 7pm in a D3 Regional Semifinal.
Morenci will go to Whitmore Lake Monday at 7pm to play Petersburg-Summerfield in a D4 Regional Semifinal. Ian Wendt will be on the call for 96.5fm The Cave.
