Blissfield Girls Basketball Pull Away from Lenawee Christian on Senior Night

Blissfield, MI – It was Senior Night at Blissfield High School Tuesday for the Girls Basketball team. A solid first half by the Lenawee Christian Cougars gave them the lead at halftime, 25-23 over the Royals… but a second half surge by Blissfield put them on top in the end, 53-37.

Blissfield outscored LCS 18-6 (3rd quarter) and 12-6 (4th quarter) in the second half, forcing several turnovers and making big shots from the floor.

The Royals were led in scoring by Avery Collins, with 20 points. The Cougars had three players with 8 points…Izzy Brooks, Brynn Davis, and Callie Anderson.

Brooks was the DS Johnson and Associates Service First Insurance Group Player of the Game. Peyton Tennent was the player of the game for Blissfield, she had a double-double, with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She had 8 points in the third quarter, the turning point in the game.

The Royals improve to 19-2…the Cougars drop to 9-12.
