Adrian vs. UW-River Falls in Top 10 Women’s Hockey Tilt Tonight in Wisconsin

River Falls, Wisconsin – Two of the nation’s best NCAA D-III Women’s Hockey teams will face-off tonight in Wisconsin. Adrian College hit the road early Wednesday morning for the 10 hour bus ride to River Falls, located about 1 hour from Minneapolis, Minnesota. AC held practice Wednesday at a rink in Wisconsin-Dells to gear-up for their game with the Falcons.

Bulldog Une Bjelland leads the team in points, with 10 (5G, 5A). Maya Roy (9pts- 2G, 7A) and Jocelin Hudanish (7pts- 4G, 3A) are second and third on the team in terms of scoring.

Adrian’s goalies have split time in the early season between Annie Gilbert and Michaela O’Brien, with each of them playing in 4 games. Gilbert has a .971 save percentage, and O’Brien has a .950 save percentage.

(#8 USCHO, #7 Pairwise) Adrian has won 6 straight games, compiling a record of 7-1 overall. The Bulldogs are 4-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play, 6-0 at home, 0-1 on the road, and 1-0 in neutral site games.

(#3 USCHO, #2 Pairwise) UW-River Falls have not lost this season. They are 3-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, 4-0 at home, 4-0 on the road, and have not played a neutral site game.
