Adrian, MI – Eight teams from Lenawee County officially punched their tickets to the 2023 MHSAA High School Football Playoffs! Addison, Adrian, Blissfield, Clinton, Hudson, Lenawee Christian, Sand Creek, and Tecumseh all have a chance to hoist the hardware at the end of November. Here are the District match-ups for each team:
Division 4 (Adrian and Tecumseh)
Region – District 1- Tecumseh (5-4) @ Chelsea (8-1)
Region – District 1- Adrian (6-3) @ Haslett (6-3)
*Winners of those two game will play for a District Title
Division 7 (Blissfield, Clinton)
Region 4, District 2- Blissfield (5-4) @ Clinton (8-1)
*Winner will play winner of Detroit Loyola/Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central District
Division 8 (Addison, Hudson, Sand Creek)
Region 3, District 2- Sand Creek (5-4) @ Ottawa Lake Whiteford (9-0)
Region 3, District 2- Hudson (7-2) @ Addison (9-0)
*Winners of the two Districts above will play each other for the District Title
8-Player Division 2 (Lenawee Christian)
Region 4- Camden-Frontier (6-3) @ Lenawee Christian (9-0)
*Winner will play winner of Pittsford/Climax-Scotts for Regional Title
- Lenawee Broadcasting Company (103.9fm WLEN and 96.5fm The Cave) will carry games this Friday night. John Koehn will be with Adrian in Haslett (WLEN), and Ian Wendt/Fred Smith will be in Clinton (The Cave).
