Siena Heights University Football Wins Second Straight, Cruise Past Judson 58-14

Elgin, Ill. – The Siena Heights football (2-1) team rolled to a 58-14 win over non-conference opponent Judson on Saturday. Quarterback Elijah Taylor threw four touchdown passes — two to wide receiver Eric Williams II — and Ethan LoPresto had a pair of touchdown runs as the Saints finished up the non-conference portion of their schedule.

Taylor finished 8 of 13 for 107 yards before fellow QB Justin McCown completed 2 of 3 for 44 yards and a score. Williams led the wide-outs with three catches for 55 yards. Fellow receivers Eric Finke, Chris Coleman and Bobby Opalewski also had touchdown catches.

LoPresto totaled 13 carries for 136 yards and two TDs while Jordan Ramsey added 11 runs for 84 yards and a touchdown. Defensive lineman Nico Fernandez was credited as SHU’s leading tackler with six stops. Linebacker Jack Howey and defensive back Devan James forced fumbles. James also recovered a fumble.

D-Lineman Greg Predina had a sack. Clarke Hamilton, Noah Gradeless and Markel Main also made tackles-for-loss. SHU will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 30, with a visit to Indiana Wesleyan.
