In NCAA baseball the Men’s College World Series Semifinals have been set as the SEC dominates the tournament so far with 2 teams from the conference still remaining.
The final 4 teams are Florida, TCU, Wake Forest, and LSU.
Florida punched their ticket to the semifinals when they defeated Oral Roberts 5-4 while TCU earned their way there by also defeating Oral Roberts yesterday 6-1.
Florida and TCU play in the first semifinal matchup today at 2.
Wake Forest and LSU already became familiar with each other as the overall number 1 ranked team the Demon Deacons earned the win 3-2 to get to the semifinals. The defeat caused the Tigers to have to play for their lives yesterday vs an SEC rival, the Tennessee Volunteers who they beat 5-0.
The second semifinal has Wake Forest and LSU playing in a rematch at 7 tonight.
