In the NBA the summer already brings in big news as a blockbuster trade has already been made. The Washington Wizards announce they will trade All Star Guard Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns. The deal package includes Beal, Isaiah Todd, and Jordan Goodwin to go to the Suns, while veteran guard Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, multiple 2nd round picks, and multiple pick swaps will go to the Wizards.
The surprising thing with this trade is the fact that the Suns were able to retain star center Deandre Ayton who the Wizards were reportedly interested in including in the trade but the Suns refused. Rumors around Ayton possibly still getting traded for more pieces remain as the Suns would be over the salary cap with the contracts of their 4 stars.
