Adrian, MI – The NCAA announced the DIII Men’s and Women’s Tournament brackets on Sunday night and Monday morning. The Adrian College women’s hockey team and the men’s hockey team earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
After defeating St. Norbert College in the NCHA Slaats Cup Championship, 4-1, the women’s hockey team earned a bye in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Adrian will host a Quarterfinal Round on Saturday, March 11 at 3:00 PM. The Bulldogs will host the winner of Nazareth and Hamilton who play Wednesday, March 8th.
The men’s hockey team defeated Aurora University in the Harris Cup finals on Saturday night, 8-1. The Bulldogs will have a first round bye before hosting the winner of UW-Stevens Point and Augsburg at the Arrington Ice Arena. The Quarterfinals will take place on Saturday, March 18 at 7:00 PM.
