Ypsilanti, MI – The Adrian Maples Boys Varsity game at Ypsilanti was postponed last night due to a physical altercation that occurred during the JV basketball game. The altercation did not involve anyone from Adrian, but rather a student from a local high school, who left the stands to target a Ypsilanti JV player. The student who left the stands for this altercation was not a student at Ypsilanti High School.

Jordan Kelly, the Maples’ Varsity Coach explained that it did take awhile for the gymnasium to be cleared of everyone involved in what he described as a “brawl” on the court. Due to the incident, as well as the time it took to get the situation under control, both teams agreed it was best to postpone the game until a later date.
