Adrian, MI – Winter sports are in full-swing around Lenawee County! 96.5fm The Cave has a packed broadcast schedule this week, with a local game on the air every day through Saturday.
We start our streak of broadcasts in Tecumseh tonight, as the Tecumseh Indians girls and boys basketball teams host the Madison Trojans. The girls game will tip-off at 5:30pm, with the boys playing at around 7pm. Jeff Bowman will be on the call for both games, beginning with a 5:15pm pregame show.
Wednesday night is for college basketball, with the Siena Heights University Saints women’s and men’s basketball teams taking a short trip to Sylvania, Ohio to battle the Lourdes University Grey Wolves. Patt Hayes and Fred Smith will be on the call, with a pregame at 5:15pm.
On Thursday we switch our focus back to Lenawee County high school hoops, as The Cave will be at Onsted for a single game of boys basketball at 7pm. The Wildcats will host LCAA foe Blissfield, with John Koehn on the call.
Adrian College Hockey hits the airwaves Friday night after a lengthy early-season pause on The Cave. The Men’s NCAA team will be in the Chicago area taking on NCHA opponent Lake Forest College at 7pm CST.
Saturday afternoon will be the The Cave’s 5th straight day of local sports broadcasts. Ian Wendt will finish the weekend series with AC Men’s hockey at Lake Forest, with puck-drop scheduled for 4pm CST.
