The Cave will Broadcast Siena Heights University Basketball Doubleheader Tonight at UNOH

Adrian, MI – The Siena Heights Saints Women’s Basketball team has three more Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchups this week. The first one is on the road against the University of Northwestern Ohio tonight at 5pm

Series History: The Saints are 16-6 against UNOH. The Racers and Saints split last season’s series. This year, Siena Heights won the first meeting in the SHU Fieldhouse on February 5th.

Scouting Report: UNOH’s Jada Haines leads the Racers with 20.2 PPG. She is shooting .497 from the floor, .409 from three, and .844 from the free-throw line. Tya Bell is averaging 11.8 points per game and Erin Scott is scoring 11. 3 PPG. The team’s leading rebounder is Kalea Kruser with a 5.6 RPG.

Game Note: The Saints are outscoring opponents 22.3-14.9 on average in the third quarter. That scoring margin is the largest for the Saints by quarter.

Siena Heights Stats: Peyton Banks leads SHU with 19.3 PPG while Kelsey Wyman (15.5) and Allye Minor (10.9) are the other two Saints in double-digits for scoring. Shelby Morrow is the team’s leader on the boards with a 6.0 RPG. Banks is second with a 5.8 mark. Siena Heights leads the NAIA in 3PT percentage with a .416 team percentage. They are also fourth in the country in free throw percentage with .791. Banks is the best free-throw shooter in the country with a .969 benchmark.

The Siena Heights University Men’s Basketball team will also play at the University of Northwestern Ohio tonight.

Series History: The series between the two teams is tied 12-12, UNOH lost the last matchup against the Saints this season on February 5th as Siena earned their first win of the season on home court. The Racers last won against the Saints on February 12th, 2020 82-81 that broke Siena’s five-game winning streak against them.
