
The 19th-ranked Siena Heights Saints Women’s Basketball team defeated Governors State 61-45 on Tuesday to improve to 14-1 on the season.
Peyton Banks led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the winning effort.
Banks scored her 18 points on 6-12 shooting, 2-3 from three, and a perfect 4-4 from the line.
Addyson Tomczak scored 14 points with 5-10 shooting from the floor, 2-4 from beyond the arc, and 2-2 from the charity stripe. She hauled in six rebounds and three assists as well.
Blissfield native, Kelsey Wyman made 75 percent of her shots from the floor, and 2-3 from three, to score 10 points. She finished with two rebounds and an assist.
The Saints will now travel to face U of M – Dearborn January 4th for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest.
