Adrian College to Host NCAA Baseball Regional This Weekend

Adrian, MI – The Adrian College NCAA baseball team has punched their ticket to the national postseason tournament after their 8-3 win over Alma College in the MIAA Championship game, with Regional play taking place this week.

Adrian College got out to a quick start against Alma College in the championship game, scoring five runs in the first inning. After slow starts offensively in their wins over Kalamazoo and Albion, it was nice to see the bats get going early…

 

The 2026 senior class has won all four MIAA tournament championships in their time at AC…

 

The Bulldogs will host Regional play, which will take place May 15-17. The NCAA Regionals will be a double elimination style bracket.

Adrian earns the No. 2 seed for the Regional and will host No. 1 seeded Wittenberg University, No. 3 DePauw University, and No. 4 Webster University. The Bulldogs will be making their 17th Regional appearance in program history. The winner of the Adrian College Regional will advance to the NCAA Super Regionals and take on the winner of the UW-Whitewater Regional.

More information about the 2026 Division III Baseball Regionals will be announced throughout the week. Adrian’s first game is schedule for Friday, May 15 against DePauw at Nicolay Field.
