Madison baseball split a double header at Ida Tuesday night…losing game one 10-1 and taking the nightcap 8-6. Game one saw Kason Snyder lead Madison with the lone run batted in.
Snyder grounded out, scoring one run to kick off the scoring in game two. Eli Hiatt singled to left field following a 6-pitch at-bat.
Brooks Horwath singled, scoring two runs, Hiatt drew a walk, scoring one run, Ashton Hoag singled, scoring one run, and Norman Frederick singled, scoring two runs.
Cole Grof earned the win for Madison. The starter gave up four hits and four runs over four innings, striking out three and walking four.
Elliott Beagle went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Trojans in hits. Madison welcomes Ida Thursday for their next game.

The Hudson softball Tigers took two from Dundee, 7-4 and 11-0.
McKenna Mull picked up a pair of wins in the circle.
Hudson had 13 hits in game one. Macayle Grayer and Kopin each collected three hits. Emerson Sholl and Ryen Rogers each drove in two runs.
Hudson started off strong in game two with a first pitch solo homerun by Sam Anderson. Amber Williams went 3 for 4 at the plate. The Tigers had a total of 12 hits. Rihanna Ramirez and Grayer each had two RBIs.

Ida softball defeated Madison 10-0 in game one of their doubleheader Tuesday, and also took game two 4-3.
Kendall Gilbertson led the Trojans offense with a double in game one. In game two… ZZ Mosher pitched seven innings, allowing 3 earned runs on seven hits. She had four strikeouts and only walked one.
Kendall Gilbertson was 2-for-3 with a homerun and two RBI’s. Alexis Ebert and Camylie Sower each added a hit
Madison will travel to Hillsdale today to finish an earlier contest.

The Adrian College women’s lacrosse team mounted a strong fourth-quarter comeback attempt, but ultimately fell to Calvin, 13-10, in the MIAA Tournament Semifinals on Tuesday afternoon.
Adrian closes its season at 12-5, while Calvin advances to the conference championship.
The Bulldogs saw a balanced offensive effort with six different goal scorers, led by two goals each from Kacie Woodall, Sarah Gross, Mariana Miller, and Abby Malone.
Junior attacker Madeline Turcotte, senior midfielder Jenna Allie, and senior defender Ava Lazzareschi all earned their spot on the All-MIAA First Team.

The Adrian College women’s tennis team faced off against Saint Mary’s College on Tuesday on the road in the MIAA Tournament Quarterfinals… losing 4-0.
Doubles duo of Claire Earley and Hye Jin Elliot recorded the lone Bulldogs win. Adrian finishes the season with an 8-12 record while finishing 3-5 in MIAA play.

Adrian College senior offensive midfielder Alec Winegar earned his spot on the Men’s Lacrosse All-MIAA First Team… and sophomore goalkeeper Josiah Karnehm earned a spot on the second Team.

The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association announced their annual end of the season awards Sunday afternoon with seven members of the Adrian College Acrobatics & Tumbling team honored on the academic honor roll.
Honorees include Marissa Baltrip, Madison Bradley, Jessica Justa, Natalie LaBean, Sara Kozel, Corynn Pratto, and Jersey Wilson.

The Adrian College cornhole team wrapped up its 2025-26 season over the weekend by competing in its final ACL Open of the year in Cleveland.
In the Collegiate Singles bracket, Ethan Freeman and Alex Weaver both tied for seventh place.
The Bulldogs bounced back in the Collegiate Doubles bracket, where Alex Weaver and Abigail Trepkowski captured first place, while Jackson Newman and Mason Foote added a third-place finish.
In the Open Doubles division, Adrian competed against a strong field of 313 teams. Weaver and Trepkowski posted a 4-2 record in rounders to advance to the Tier 1 bracket, finishing ranked 70th overall. Freeman also competed in Open Doubles as a solo player, finishing 4-2 and placing 61st.
In Open Singles competition, Weaver again found success, going 4-2 in Tier 1 play to earn a ninth-place finish. Abbie Sawicki also turned in a strong performance, finishing 2-2 and placing ninth in Tier 3.
The Cleveland Open marked the conclusion of the 2025-26 season for the Adrian College cornhole team.
