Two Lenawee County girls basketball teams will be at Michigan State University’s Breslin Center in the MHSAA semifinal round.
Tonight at 5:30 on 103.9 WLEN, the Morenci Bulldogs will take on Ishpeming in the Division 4 semifinals. Bulldog head coach Ashley Joughin talked about their 42-25 Quarterfinal win Tuesday against Kingston…
The semifinal will be aired on 103.9fm WLEN with Jeff Bowman and Ian Wendt, with tip-off at 5:30pm.
If the Bulldogs win, the state championship game will be at 10am on Saturday. 96.5fm The Cave would carry that broadcast.

Friday at 5:30pm on 96.5 The Cave, the Tecumseh Indians will battle Flint Powers Catholic in the Division 2 semifinals. John Koehn and Ian Wendt will be on the mic.
If the Indians win Friday, the state championship game will be at 6:15pm on Saturday. 96.5 The Cave would carry that broadcast as well.

The Adrian College women’s lacrosse team cruised to a 20-8 victory over Capital on the road Wednesday.
Sarah Gross led the offensive charge with five goals, while Mariana Miller added four goals and two assists. Kacie Woodall, Jenna Allie, and Madeline Turcotte each contributed three goals.
Adrian improves to 5-1 on the season, and will return to action Saturday afternoon at Kenyon College.

The Adrian College men’s lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest to Baldwin Wallace, 13-6, on Wednesday afternoon at home.
Tecumseh native Trace Tidswell led the Bulldogs offensively with four goals and an assist, accounting for five of Adrian’s nine points. Alec Winegar and Austin Selvage each added a goal.
Adrian moves to 2-7 on the season and will be back on the field in April against Kalamazoo College.

Members of the Adrian College bowling team competed at the USBC Sectionals over the weekend in Pittsburgh.
The Bulldogs were represented by one member on the men’s side and four on the women’s side.
The four women were Victoria McLaughlin. Alina Wilgus, Keigan Schuster, and Mara Knochs. On the men’s side, Matthew Daniels competed for the Bulldogs.
Adrian returns to action for its final event of the season at Lenawee Recreation when it hosts the AHBA Singles Event on Saturday, beginning at 9AM.

The Adrian College baseball team remains ranked in the D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll for the 2026 season, checking in at No. 21 in the Week 4 rankings.
The Bulldogs hold a 7-4 record, dropping from 17 after a weekend split.
Adrian is coming off a challenging weekend battling cold and windy conditions in Chicago. The Bulldogs fell 15-5 to No. 1-ranked Denison before bouncing back with a 7-5 victory over North Central College. A third scheduled game against Baldwin Wallace was postponed due to weather and will be made up at a later date.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend with a three-game series against Wabash College on the road.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced the recipients of the 2025-26 NCAA Women’s Scholar All-American Awards, with 11 Bulldogs making the list.
They were: Raven Aldridge, Aliya Conner, Taylor Cutler, Carleigh Czerneski, Mia Gaetjens, Zionah Gardner, Mason Harsch, Jayna McClory, Alaina Rudolph, Angelica Steffy, and Paige Willman.

The Evansville Thunderbolts of the SPHL announced the signing of Adrian College’s Anthony Mollica last week.
Mollica recently finished his collegiate career with the NCAA men’s hockey team where he played two seasons for the Bulldogs after transferring from St. Lawrence University.
Since joining Evansville, the defensemen has played in two games and has already netted a goal.
Mollica joins Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey alumni Ayo Adenieye and Connor May as a member of the SPHL.
