Two Lenawee County girls basketball teams hoisted regional championship trophies Wednesday night, as the Tecumseh Indians and Morenci Bulldogs are heading to the quarterfinal round of the MHSAA tournament.

The Tecumseh Indians celebrated on their home floor Wednesday night, as the team secured its third consecutive regional championship thanks to their 58-39 win over Parma Western. Senior Chloe Bullinger led the Tribe with 30 points.
Tecumseh moves on to the quarterfinal round against Carleton Airport. The game will take place at Chelsea high school Tuesday at 7pm.
96.5 The Cave will carry the Tecumseh game, while 103.9 WLEN will have the Morenci contest.

The Siena Heights baseball team suffered a 13-2 loss to non-conference opponent Spring Arbor earlier this week.
Pablo Arnaud had an RBI triple and Braxton Mustiful collected an RBI single for the Saints.

The Siena Heights competitive cheer team placed third among six teams at its final WHAC Championships event. The Saints finished behind champion Madonna and runner-up Lourdes.
Siena Heights competitive cheerleader Jayla Bright was named to the All-WHAC First Team, as announced by the league. Bright was also selected to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
The Saints had six team members named Academic All-WHAC: Bobby Lindsey, Cheyenne Eichler, Dakoda Dreher, Jerzie Robinson, Logan Parks and Sav Rambow.

Both members of the Siena Heights competitive dance team — Lydia Kirk and Kaya Robinson — were named All-WHAC First Team, as announced by the league.
Kirk and Robinson were also selected to the Academic All-WHAC Team and Robinson was chosen as a WHAC Champion of Character. Robinson is now a two-time All-WHAC honoree.

The Adrian College Collegiate synchronized skating team recently traveled to Salt Lake City for the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships.
The team skated to a 7th place overall finish. The next synchronized skating event will be their annual Ice Show on March 29th from Noon until 3pm at Arrington Ice Arena.

The Adrian College acrobatics & tumbling team hosted a home tri-meet on Wednesday afternoon, finishing second.
East Texas Baptist captured the meet title, while Calvin University placed third.
Adrian will look to build on the performance at their next match at Trine University March 22nd.

The Adrian College ACHA Men’s Division I hockey team returns to the National Tournament this weekend in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Bulldogs entered the tournament with a 28-6-2 record and finished 10-2 in Great Lakes 6 play, capturing both the GL6 Regular Season and Conference Tournament titles.
Adrian earned the No. 9 seed in the 24-team national tournament and will open play against No. 24 West Virginia University in the first round tonight at 9pm.
With a win over West Virginia, Adrian would advance to face No. 8 Jamestown in the second round.
