Lenawee County’s lone boys basketball district champion, Onsted Wildcats, took the short trip to Clinton high school to play Whiteford in regional semifinal action Tuesday night.

23-2 Onsted will face 19-5 Ecorse Thursday at 7pm for a regional championship in Clinton. Ecorse beat Jonesville on Tuesday night, 56-51.

The MHSAA girls basketball playoffs continue, with District semifinal play set to tip-off at 5:30pm.

96.5fm The Cave will be in Dundee for two contests in Division 2. Ida will face defending state champion Tecumseh at 5:30pm, then Adrian will take on Madison at around 7pm. John Koehn will be on the call for those contests.

In Division 3, at Quincy, Hudson will play the host school at 5:30pm.

In Division 3 play at Onsted, Clinton will play Blissfield at 5:30pm. The host Wildcats will play Brooklyn-Columbia Central at 7pm tonight.

In Division 4 at Summerfield, Britton-Deerfield will battle Lenawee Christian at 5:30pm. In Division 4 at Jackson Christian, the Morenci Bulldogs will play Addison tonight at 5:30pm.

Mark your calendars for the annual Lenawee County Softball and Baseball Coaches Show. The event will take place Sunday, March 15th from 11am until 3pm at Skytech Sports Bar and Banquet Hall in Adrian.

Hear from all the Lenawee County coaches as they prepare for the Spring season. The show will be aired on 96.5 The Cave, and video streamed on Lenawee TV.

D3baseball.com released its Week 2 Top 25 Poll on Tuesday, and the Adrian College NCAA baseball team continues to climb the national rankings, breaking into the top 10.

The Bulldogs moved up to No. 9 in the country and received one first-place vote.

Now 5-0 on the year, Adrian is coming off three non-conference victories. The Bulldogs edged Mount St. Joseph University, 8-7, on Saturday before earning wins over East Texas Baptist University, 10-3, and Huntingdon College, 10-5.

The Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey team climbed one spot in the latest USCHO.com national poll and remained at No. 8 in the DIIIHockeyNews rankings.

The Bulldogs are 23-5-0 overall and will host St. Norbert College in the NCHA Slaats Cup Final on Saturday at 3p.m.

Adrian is coming off a 5-0 victory over Lake Forest College in the NCHA Semifinals.

The Bulldogs currently sits at 14 in the NPI Rankings, which are used to determine seeding and at-large selections for the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Selection Show is scheduled for Sunday at 8:30 p.m.

The USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews released their weekly national polls Monday afternoon, with the Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team slipping to No. 6 in the USCHO poll and No. 5 in the DIIIHockeyNews rankings.

Adrian holds a 20-7-1 overall record this season.

The Bulldogs are coming off an NCHA Harris Cup Semifinal loss to Aurora University, which is ranked number two in both polls.

Adrian currently sits at No. 10 in the NPI rankings, which are used to determine seeding and at-large bids for the NCAA Tournament.

The NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Selection Show is scheduled for Sunday at 9:30 p.m.

The Adrian College men’s lacrosse team dropped a non-conference road contest to Denison University, 23–4, on Tuesday evening… moving the Bulldogs to 1-5 overall on the season.

The Bulldogs will look to regroup as they prepare for a 2pm Friday afternoon game at Otterbein University.

The Adrian College NCAA softball team played its third day of games in Florida on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs faced Alvernia University to start the day and fell 10-2. Adrian then came back in game two of the day against Lebanon Valley College to win 9-7.

AC’s record sits at 3-3 on the young season.

The Adrian College men’s golf team opened the 2026 spring season in North Carolina, competing at the annual Pfeiffer Invitational.

The Bulldogs finished eighth in the 10-team field.

Michael Shubeck paced Adrian with rounds of 77 and 80, finishing 25th overall. Carter Klawonn tied for 35th after carding rounds of 80 and 81.

The Bulldogs return to action in April for a two-round match play competition against Siena Heights University.

The Adrian College women’s golf team opened its spring season in warmer weather Monday and Tuesday, competing in a two-day event hosted by Pfeiffer University.

One Adrian squad placed sixth overall, while the second team placed seventh.

Rachel Fay led Adrian, tying for 11th individually after posting rounds of 85 and 77. Ainslee Hewitt finished 14th with scores of 82 and 81.

The Bulldogs will return home before traveling back south at the end of the month to compete in Virginia at Randolph-Macon (MAY-kin) College.

The Adrian College women’s tennis team returned to action as they started its spring season on Monday with a doubleheader. The Bulldogs took on Wartburg College, dropping the contest 4-3 before falling to John Carroll 6-1.

The Bulldogs faced Wartburg College and John Carroll University…losing both matches, 4-3.
