The Tecumseh Indians girls basketball team won a battle against Saginaw Heritage Tuesday night, 55-39.

Addis Zajac had a standout game with 24 points, and 11 rebounds. Delaney Brown had 13 points and 3 rebounds while Chloe Bullinger added 11 pts, 3 assists and 3 rebounds.

Tecumseh boys basketball downed Hudson Tuesday, 53-41.

The Indians were led by Charlie Palmer and Gabe Abbot…each with 13 points. The Tigers were paced by Jackson Kast, with 21 points.

Madison boys basketball fell to Parma Western, 56-42. Derrell Tillman led the Trojans with 14 points.

The Adrian Maples girls basketball team downed SEC White foe Jackson 41-29.

Ella Salenbien scored 13 points, while Amor Sanchez netted 12 Maple points. The Maples are now 12-2 on the season.

The Adrian boys basketball team fell to Jackson 74-61 on Tuesday night. Jaxson Francis led the Maples with 34 points and 10 rebounds.

The 12-4 Maples return home Friday to play rival Tecumseh. The game will be aired on 103.9 WLEN and Lenawee TV.

Britton-Deerfield boys hoops took down Morenci, 48-38. Liam Roe led the Patriots with 22. Talan Kruse had 21 for the Bulldogs.

Sand Creek boys basketball lost to Swanton, 52-44. Hazelwood had 17 for the Aggies.

Siena Heights women’s pole vaulter Emma Stewart was named WHAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week.

Stewart won the pole vault competition at Saginaw Valley’s Jet’s Invitational. She remained the No. 1 vaulter in the NAIA, breaking her previous school record shared with Tyler Fugate.

Siena Heights women’s basketball guard Jam Thigpen was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week by the league.

Thigpen had 18 rebounds and two steals during the Saints’ win over 75-56 win against Northwestern Ohio last week. She followed up with 11 rebounds and one steal in a 69-59 win.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association released its first preseason poll for women’s tennis, with the Adrian College women’s tennis team projected to finish fifth in the upcoming season.

Adrian holds a 4-2 record following its non-conference fall season, picking up wins over Manchester, Anderson, Webster, and Franklin. The Bulldogs are led by Claire Earley, who posted a 5-1 record during the fall, while Hye Jin Elliott finished 4-1. The duo of Earley and Elliott also led the team in doubles, compiling a perfect 6-0 record.

The Bulldogs will open their spring season in Florida next month.

The AC men’s tennis team is also projected to place fifth in the conference 2026 spring season.

The Bulldogs sit with a 4-3 record after the non-conference fall season. Adrian picked up wins over Manchester, Webster, Franklin, and Ohio Wesleyan. Michael Mascarin leads the Bulldogs with a 5-0 record while Jaxon Nejedlik sits at 5-1.

Adrian’s spring season is slated to begin in Florida in early March.

Adrian College hosted Albion College Tuesday evening, dominating the dual, earning a decisive 36–4 team victory on senior day.

Carleigh Czerneski cruised to a 10–0 tech fall at 117, followed by Sophia Renteria’s commanding 12–0 technical fall at 124.

Adrian continued to roll through the middle weights, highlighted by Mason Harsch’s pin at 131 and Taylor Cutler’s lightning-fast fall at 160, ending the match in just 34 seconds.

The Bulldogs women’s wrestling team will be back in action Saturday and Sunday at the D3 Invitationals in Rock Island, Illinois.

The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced its Three Stars of the Week for NCAA men’s and women’s hockey, with Adrian College earning three total selections.

The Bulldog men’s team claimed two honors as Ryan Piros and Bradley Somers were recognized, while Kiera Stack represented the women’s program.

Across two games against St. Norbert, Stack allowed just two goals while making 56 total saves, posting a .964 save percentage. She currently ranks third nationally in save percentage, fifth in goals-against average, and first in shutouts.

Piros recorded 68 saves over the two-game weekend against the Green Knights, leading Adrian to a 4-1 victory on Friday night before a 2-2 tie on Saturday. The Bulldogs went on to win the shootout, with Piros shutting out the Green Knights.

Somers finished the weekend with two goals, including the game-winner in Friday night’s win. He also scored a power-play goal on Saturday to spark Adrian’s comeback and force overtime and a shootout. Somers then netted the lone goal in the shootout to seal the victory for the Bulldogs.
