The Adrian Maples bowling teams fell to Saline earlier this week…with the girls losing 28-2 and the boys falling 26-4.

Brynn Davis, London Schmid, and Hattie Fansler led the Lenawee Christian Cougars girls basketball team to a victory over Onsted Wednesday night, 49-44.

Davis led the Cougars with 16, Schmid scored 13, and Fansler had 11 points. LCS will travel to Morenci on Friday to battle the Bulldogs. The game will be aired on 96.5 The Cave and Lenawee TV.

Adrian College Athletics hit the national stage again, as former NFL coach and current sports analyst Jon Gruden met the Bulldogs men’s volleyball team at the airport. A post on social media has been making the rounds.

Gruden also opened a box full of Adrian College gear, and posted it on his social media accounts.

The Adrian College women’s basketball team lost to Saint Mary’s College on Wednesday night, 63-53.

Aubrie Icks led the Bulldogs with 22 points along with 12 rebounds. Morgan Babb added eight points for the Bulldogs.

The ‘Dawgs are back in action on Wednesday, where they will welcome Alma College at 7pm. The contest will be aired on 96.5 The Cave at 7pm.

The Siena Heights women’s basketball team used explosive first‑ and fourth‑quarter surges to pull away from Cornerstone on Wednesday night, earning an 87–76 WHAC victory at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Ty’Veonna Davis poured in a game‑high 28 points for the Saints. Lauren DeWolf delivered a highly efficient 22 points, and Jam Thigpen added 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Siena Heights men’s basketball team had trouble slowing down a blistering Cornerstone offense Wednesday night, falling 94–77 in WHAC play at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Joshua Wilson delivered a standout performance for Siena Heights, scoring 26 points. Nick Sobush added 14 points, and Jasiah Rainey posted a team‑high eight rebounds.
