Adrian, MI – Here are the Lenawee County highlights from Tuesday’s Inside the Cave Sports Update…

The Adrian girls and boys bowling teams swept Ann Arbor Monday at Lenawee Rec.

The girls team won 27-3, and were led by Josephine McCaully, Izzabell Brown and Brandi Darr…each posting triple-digit scores.

The boys squad was victorious, 23-7, and were paced by Aiden Voelkle and Kobe Powers.

The Maples’ next meet is this Thursday at Lenawee Rec against Monroe beginning at 3pm.

The Madison Boys Bowling team defeated Blissfield Monday, 18-12.

Notable games for the Trojans were thrown by: Hayden Downard with a 215, Grayson Hill had a 212, Zack Koebbe and Bently Richard each had a 190.

The Sand Creek girls basketball team defeated Addison Monday night, 44-24.

Alexander had 16 for the Creek. Steinke with 12. Addison was led by Arnold, with 12 points.

The Onsted girls basketball team beat Ann Arbor Central Academy Monday night, 62-25.

Wildcat leading scorers were Karlie Kimerer with 17, Hanna Hill and Mattie Hallenbeck each had 14.

Talan Kruse poured in 23 points to pace the Morenci Bulldogs boys basketball team Monday night, helping his team to a 61-44 win against Reading.

Joshua Wilson scored a game‑high 19 points and the Siena Heights men’s basketball used a dominant first half to roll past Kuyper 63–39 at the SHU Fieldhouse on Monday night.

The Saints built a 33-14 lead over the Cougars heading into the locker room.

Jonas Tester provided 13 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Nick Sobush and George Kalatzis each chipped in eight points.

SHU will return to play Wednesday with an 8 p.m. WHAC game against Madonna. The win Monday was on the heels of the Saints’ first conference win Saturday, 71-66.

Kanyla Tyler had 20 points in the Siena Heights women’s basketball team 64–46 loss to Cleary over the weekend.

Siena Heights returns to action Wednesday with a 6 p.m. WHAC home game against Madonna.

Siena Heights women’s soccer midfielder Chelsey Chambless was named to the USC All-North Region Team, as announced by United Soccer Coaches. Chambless led the team with two game-winning goals.

The Siena Heights men’s wrestling team picked up three individual victories but fell 35–9 to Marian in their recent WHAC dual.

Randy Frailey, Grant Richardson, and Brandon Rau grabbed wins for the Saints.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its Athletes of the Week, with Adrian College’s Adrian Rosas earning the honor following a dominant performance this past weekend.

The 15th-ranked wrestler nationally, Rosas went a perfect 3-0 at the Berg Holiday Duals.

Rosas has an unblemished 13-0 record through the opening weeks.

The Adrian College wrestling team will break for the holidays before returning to action in January.

The Adrian College dance team traveled to Dance Team Union Regionals over the weekend, capturing the Regional Title.

For the first time in program history, two Adrian squads took the floor. Competing in the College Jazz category, the Bulldogs claimed first place. The ‘Dawgs followed that performance with an impressive team routine.

With the strong showing across both routines, the Bulldogs secured first place overall and the 2025–26 Dance Team Union Championship title.

The Adrian College women’s wrestling team hit the road to compete in the North Central College Invitational Sunday morning, with the Bulldogs placing 26th out of 35 teams.

Jayna McClory and Paige Willman both earned Champion of round 1. The Bulldogs women’s wrestling team will be back in action Saturday as they head out west for the West Coast Tournament of Champions.

The Adrian College men’s basketball team wrapped up its two-game road trip with a win at Concordia University Chicago on Sunday, as the Bulldogs won a high-scoring contest, 92–81.

Darrius Welch led the way with a team-high 28 points and seven rebounds. Brendon Schlink added 13 points, six rebounds, and one assist, while Jaden Smiley controlled the glass with 11 rebounds to go along with seven points and two assists.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, where they will host Wilmington College at 7PM.
