The Britton-Deerfield boys bowling team took care of business against Will Carleton Academy earlier this week, winning the match 29-1 at Ten Pin Alley.
Adam Schuerer threw a 227 and 199. Logan Johnson fired a 135 and 130, Josiah Graveline had a 189 and Caden Kubacki had games of 151 and 167 for the Patriots.

The Adrian College Women’s ACHA Division 1 hockey team shut out the University of Arizona Thursday night at the Arrington Ice Arena, 6-0. The Dawgs scored three times in the first period, and three more in the third to take the first-ever game between the two schools.
The contest was broadcast on 96.5fm The Cave.

The Onsted Wildcats girls basketball team has been on the rise the last couple of years, and are looking to take another step in the right direction this season.
Their head coach, Jon Hovermale was a guest on the Coaches Preview Show at Skytech Sports Bar in Adrian. He recapped his first two seasons on the bench, and looked ahead at this year’s squad…

The Wildcats begin their 2025-26 season Wednesday, December 10th at home versus Ann Arbor Central Academy at 6pm.

The Adrian College track and field team sent two standout multi-event athletes to the Hillsdale College Mid-Week Multi, where Alysia Townsend rewrote the record books and Ian Kramp climbed into the program’s all-time top 10.
Townsend opened the meet in dominant fashion, scoring 2,733 points in the pentathlon to break the school record.
Kramp also impressed on day one, notching personal bests in all four of his events to position himself for a strong finish. He carried that momentum into day two, where he completed the heptathlon with personal bests in all three remaining events.
Townsend and the rest of the Bulldog track and field squad will head to Saginaw State University today.

The high school boys basketball broadcast schedule is officially underway tonight for 96.5 The Cave as the Adrian Maples travel to Madison to battle the Trojans in a non-league matchup. Tip-off at 7pm with John Koehn on the call.

College hockey tonight on 103.9 WLEN and wlen.com as the Adrian College men’s NCAA squad continues conference play against the Milwaukee School of Engineering at home.
The Bulldogs are ranked inside the top 5 nationally, while the Raiders are receiving votes. The pregame show begins at 6:45pm with Ian Wendt on the play-by-play.
