The Adrian Maples girls swim and dive team defeated Jackson on the road Thursday, 98-88.
Emma Pino took first in the 50 free and 100 free, earning a state cut time in the 100. Ella Salenbien won the 200 free and 100 breaststroke. Abby Meyers took first in the 200 IM and 100 fly. Allison Marks was victorious in the 100 back, and Reese Beauleaux won in diving.
The 200 Medley Relay team of Allison Marks, Abby Meyers, Emma Pino, and Hailey Gallant beat the Vikings.
The 200 Free Relay squad of Emma Pino, Reese Beauleaux, Ella Salenbien, and Ann Saunders picked up the win for Adrian High.
Several Maples had Personal Best Swims, including: Izzy Brown, Michele Coy, Brandi Darr, Hailey Gallant, Guadalupe Jimenez, Abby Meyers, and Selena Solis.

In their last regular season home game in program history, the Siena Heights University men’s soccer put on quite the show with a 2-1 upset victory over WHAC conference opponent, Lawrence Tech earlier this week.
It was not until the second half that Lawrence Tech would score the first goal of the contest in the 56th minute. Siena Heights would respond a few moments later in the 62nd minute when Pedro Mattoso scored, unassisted. In the 89th minute of the match, Gustavo Famula would score the game-winning goal, assisted by Felipe dos Santos.
Siena’s Goalie, Yuriy Tukalevskyy, totaled three saves
Siena Heights will conclude its regular season on the road, on Saturday against WHAC conference opponent Lourdes.

The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced its 2025-26 Preseason Coaches’ Poll, with the Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team projected to finish third in the conference.
Adrian is coming off an 18-10-1 overall record in 2024-25, and went 10-7-1 in NCHA play. The Bulldogs secured the number 4 seed in the Harris Cup Playoffs, where they defeated number 5 MSOE in the quarterfinals and recorded a shutout victory over second-seeded Aurora on the road in the semifinals. Adrian’s run ended with a loss to top seed St. Norbert in the championship game, finishing as the first team out of NCAA Tournament selection according to the NPI rankings.
The Bulldogs enter the 2025-26 campaign ranked No. 10 nationally in both the USCHO.com and DIIIHockeyNews preseason polls.
St. Norbert headlines the NCHA preseason rankings, followed by Aurora in second place. Trine was picked to finish fourth, behind the Bulldogs.
Adrian opens the 2025-26 regular season on the road at second-ranked Utica University on October 31st.
