
Adrian, MI – Here are the highlights from Tuesday’s Inside the Cave Sports Update…

The Adrian Maples girls golf team traveled to the SEC Tournament at EMU’s Eaglecrest Golf Club and finished 4th in the SEC White.
Adrian scores were Bridget Alexander, Alexis Fox, Maya Awad, Caire Judson, and Mia Ayers. The Maples will host the Lenawee county championship Friday at Woodlawn Golf Club.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its Athletes of the Week on Monday, with Adrian College quarterback Noah Beaudrie earning MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Beaudrie led the Bulldogs to victory over the University of Olivet with a season-high 396 passing yards and four touchdowns on 22 completions. He also contributed in the run game, adding 39 yards on eight carries.
Through the first four games of the season, Beaudrie has been a key factor in Adrian’s 4-0 start, totaling 984 passing yards, 11 touchdown passes, and two rushing scores.

The Adrian College women’s golf team turned in a strong showing at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite, finishing sixth out of 17 teams over the two-day tournament held Sunday and Monday.
Ainslee Hewitt led the way for Adrian, placing 14th individually with a two-day total of 160. She carded an 84 on Sunday, then surged on Monday with a 76 tied for the seventh-best score of the day highlighted by 12 pars and a birdie.
Savana Smith followed with a consistent performance, shooting 84 and 81. Sami Burks recorded an 85 and 87. Rylie Yuhas posted a 90 on Sunday and improved by five strokes with an 85 on Monday. Kennedy Kehres rounded out the lineup with an 83 in the opening round and a 96 on day two.
The Bulldogs are back in action today in the MIAA Jamboree #2, hosted by the University of Olivet at Medalist Golf Club.

Two members of the Adrian College men’s tennis team represented the Bulldogs at the ITA Regionals over the weekend. Michael Mascarin and Luca Coutinho competed both as a doubles team and individually in the singles bracket. The pair impressed in doubles play, advancing to the Round of 16.
Mascarin and Coutinho will look to continue their strong play this weekend, as the Bulldogs take on Ohio Northern on Saturday, followed by a home match against Ohio Wesleyan on Sunday.

The AC Equestrian team kicked off their season this past weekend at the Midland County Fairgrounds in Midland, competing in the first two shows of the year hosted by the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals.
With solid performances from both the athletes and the team’s four horses, the Bulldogs proved themselves strong contenders in IHSA Area 64.
As the day progressed, the team’s energy and focus grew, culminating in a major win—bringing home the afternoon title of Overall High Point Team.
Standout performances came from senior co-captain Corynn Pratto and sophomore Baylie Villani.
The Bulldogs will continue their season at home, hosting the third and fourth competitions on November 1st, at The Held Equestrian Center in Albion, Michigan.

Siena Heights senior bowler Logan Cook was named the first WHAC Bowler of the Week of the 2025/26 season.
On Saturday, Cook bowled games of 246, 217, and 232… enough to make him the individual champion of the WHAC Jackson Open.
