Adrian, MI – The Adrian College baseball team held its home opener on Tuesday afternoon at Nicolay Field. The Bulldogs hosted Heidelberg University and came away with a 15-3 victory. Adrian pitched by committee tossing six pitchers in the contest while also hitting three home runs at the plate. The contest was aired on 96.5fm The Cave.
Bulldog catcher David Kedrow finished the game 2-for-3 with two home runs and six RBIs, while third baseman Ryan Davis finished 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a pair of walks. Linken Hayward finished 2-for-4 on the day with a pair of doubles and two runs scored.
Adrian totaled 14 hits as a team on Tuesday while Heidelberg finished with five. Parker Faris earned the win on the mound after tossing three innings allowing one run on one hit with a pair of strikeouts.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday, March 21 when they open up a three-game series with Wittenberg University.
