Lansing, MI – The 120 finalists for the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Scholar-Athlete Awards for the 2024-25 school year have been announced…including several from the area.
The program will honor 32 individuals from MHSAA member schools who participate in at least one sport in which the Association sponsors a postseason tournament.
Farm Bureau Insurance underwrites the Scholar-Athlete Awards and will present a $2,000 scholarship to each recipient.
Here are 2024-25 Scholar-Athlete Award Finalists from the WLEN listening area:
Girls Class A: Clara Freeth and Katherine Ma of Ann Arbor Huron, Eleni Michos from Dexter, and Grace Roth of Saline
Boys Class A: Hunter Easton of Saline and Owen Przybylski from Temperance Bedford
Girls Class B: Hannah Lee and Eleana Zhuang of Ann Arbor Greenhills and Anna Catherine Boggs from Monroe Jefferson
Boys Class B: Isaak Rubley of Dundee and Brayden Lape from Grass Lake
Girls Class C: Kaylee Kranz of Clinton and Alexyn DuBois from Hanover-Horton
Boys Class D: Seth Davis of Adrian Lenawee Christian, Owen Plum from Britton Deerfield, and Andrew Spiegel of Hillsdale Academy
Selection of the 32 scholarship recipients will take place in early February and will be announced on the MHSAA website.
