Lenawee County, MI – It was an eventful Friday night in Lenawee County, as five boys basketball teams hit the court with a chance to win a District championship, and advance to regional play.
In Tecumseh, the undefeated Onsted Wildcats battled the Adrian Maples…down in Morenci, the host Bulldogs played the Lenawee Christian Cougars…and up at Columbia Central, the Clinton Redwolves traveled to take on the Golden Eagles.
Onsted weathered a storm almost all night, with the pesky Maples staying within striking distance. The Wildcats would come away with the victory, 61-53.
The Cougars kept their post-season going with a close win over Morenci, 69-63. The Redwolves would also claim victory, 50-45. All three Lenawee County teams will be in the Regional round of the MHSAA tournament this week.
