The Adrian College women’s lacrosse team opened conference play in commanding fashion on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 20-4 victory over Alma College on the road.

Jenna Allie led all scorers with six goals and an assist, while Sarah Gross added four goals. Madeline Turcotte and Abby Malone each recorded three goals, with Turcotte contributing an assist.

Kacie Woodall finished with two goals and a team-high four assists.

7-2 Adrian College women’s lacrosse will look to build on its strong start to conference play in their next contest Wednesday on the road to Kalamazoo College at 5PM.

The Adrian College women’s rugby headed out to St. Bonaventure University for the Bonnie’s 7’s tournament, winning four out of five matches.

The Bulldogs defeated Niagara 38-10, Buffalo 33-5, Norwich 24-22, and St. Bonaventure 22-19. AC lost to Fairfield, 43-0.

Madisyn McDonald led the Bulldogs offense with seven tries and 11 conversions on the day.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on April 4th, when they head out to the University of Michigan for the Wolverines 7’s.

The Adrian College women’s tennis team kicked off its conference season on Sunday afternoon at Trine University, dropping the match 6-1.

In singles competition, Claire Earley secured a win. Earley and partner Hye Jin Elliot picked up a win in doubles competition.

The Bulldogs are back in action at home on Wednesday at 4PM.

The Adrian College men’s tennis team began MIAA Conference play on Sunday afternoon as they traveled to Trine University, losing 7-0 to the Thunder.

The Adrian College track and field team competed at Cedarville University on Saturday in a non-conference meet.

The women’s team placed 16th overall, while the men’s team finished 26th.

In the 5,000-meter run, Will Houvener led the Bulldogs with a sixth-place finish on the men’s side.

On the women’s side, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Bridget Waterstradt claimed the individual title. Olivia Dunscombe won her heat in the 800-meter run.

The Bulldogs return to action on April 8th and 9th, when they compete in the Midweek Multi hosted by Hillsdale College.

The Adrian College baseball team traveled to Alma College on Saturday afternoon to complete the three-game conference series with the Scots.

The Bulldogs dropped the first game of the day 9-6 before bouncing back to take the final game of the series 7-3. Adrian lost the series, overall, 2-1.

The Bulldogs are back in action with a midweek conference game against Albion College on Tuesday at Nicolay Field at 4PM.

The Adrian College acrobatics & tumbling team dropped their final dual meet of their season to Concordia University-Wisconsin on senior day Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs closed out their season with a 1-4 overall record.

Ian Amsbaugh of the Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team recently signed a contract with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL.

The Oilers are the ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks. Amsbaugh spent the last three seasons as a member of the Bulldogs.

Amsbaugh appeared in 86 career games at Adrian, totaling 33 goals and 75 assists for 108 points.

During the 2025-26 season, Amsbaugh was named the NCHA Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Sid Watson Award, given to the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Player of the Year.

The Siena Heights baseball lost both ends of a WHAC doubleheader with Lawrence Tech on Saturday at McLaughlin Field…. 10-6 and 5-1.

The Siena Heights men’s lacrosse team dropped a 23-8 contest to Aquinas in WHAC action on Saturday.

Sean Jablonski led the SHU offense with four goals and one assist. Marco Papadelis added three goals and Joey Keck had one goal.

Alyx Walker totaled 22 saves in goal for SHU.
