The Lenawee Christian Cougars boys basketball team defeated Britton-Deerfield in District Semifinal action Wednesday night, 73-43.
Jaxson Salenbien led LCS with 33 points. Liam Roe had 17 for the Patriots. The Cougars will play Summerfield for a District Title Friday night 7pm in Morenci.

The Onsted Wildcats boys basketball team is moving on to the District Championship game thanks to their 40-28 win over Clinton Wednesday night.
Manchester defeated Blissfield 65-56 in the other semifinal. The Wildcats will play Manchester Friday at 7 for the district title.

Lauren DeWolf scored 19 points and the Siena Heights women’s basketball never trailed as the Saints powered to a 60–45 WHAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Aquinas on Wednesday night.
Kanyla Tyler added 14 points and five rebounds, and E’Moni Finch scored 12 for the Saints.
Jam Thigpen dominated the interior with 14 rebounds and seven points, while Ty’Veonna Davis posted six points, 11 rebounds and a team-high six assists.
Siena Heights opened the game with a 21–4 first-quarter burst, holding Aquinas to 0-for-14 shooting from the field in the opening period.

The Adrian College men’s volleyball team was defeated on the road Wednesday night, falling 3–1 to Trine University on the road.
The Bulldogs dropped the match by set scores of 25–21, 25–14, 23–25, and 25–20.
Sam Landers led Adrian with 15 kills, while Dominic Rees added 12 kills and three total blocks. William Morris posted an efficient night at the net, recording eight kills on 14 swings for a .500 hitting percentage.
Andrew Graczyk anchored the offense with 26 assists, while Rolen Maclin led the Bulldogs defensively with 16 digs.
Adrian looks ahead to its home tri-match against Maranatha Baptist University and Hiram Saturday…beginning at 10am.
