The Tecumseh boys basketball team fell to Lincoln Tuesday night 55-35.

The Chelsea Bulldogs snuck past the Adrian Maples in boys basketball, 59-55. Jaxson Francis paced the Maples with 20 points, with Ben Perez adding 16 points. Adrian drops to 14-7 overall and 5-7 SEC.

The Blissfield girls basketball team clinched their 4th straight LCAA championship thanks to their tight 49-45 win over Madison. Leigh Wyman led the Royals with 17 points, with De’Mya Gibbons putting in 15.

Hannah Hill’s 12 points and Mattie Hallenbeck’s 10 points lifted the Onsted Wildcats over Dundee 38-24.

The Lenawee Christian girls basketball team downed Whiteford, 66-33. Brynn Davis scored 17 points for the Cougars, while London Schmid knocked-in 14.

Steinke’s 13 points helped the Sand Creek Aggies over North Adams, 33-24.

The Madison boys basketball team downed Blissfield 68-55 in LCAA play on Tuesday night. Brian Dopp had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Derrell Tillman netted 19 points.

The Onsted Wildcats boys basketball team put the finishing touches on their LCAA season with a 63–49 road win over Dundee.

Onsted was led by Mason Chesser, who finished with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Rylan Henagan added 15 points and 6 assists, while Cole Wells chipped in 12 points and 7 assists.

With the win, the Wildcats close LCAA play at 13–1 and improve their overall record to 19–2

The Tecumseh girls basketball team won their third straight SEC Championship, downing Lincoln 70-21. Avery Zajac led with 22 points and 4 rebounds. Chloe Bullinger added 15 points for the Tribe.

The Hudson Tigers defeated LCAA foe Ida 41–40 to improve to 11–8 on the season. Macayle Grayer led the way with an outstanding performance, finishing with 22 points. Taylor Kopin added 11 points.

Hudson is back in action Friday night for their final home game of the year as they take on Onsted.

Tatum Borton led the Adrian girls basketball team against Chelsea Tuesday night, scoring 11 points. The Bulldogs snuck past the Maples, 40-34.

Siena Heights earned three podium finishes Saturday at the WHAC Men’s Wrestling Championships, led by a third‑place performance from junior Grant Richardson at 184 pounds. The Saints added placements from Jeff Blair at heavyweight and Maliki Mosher at 125.

Richardson produced the strongest run of the day for the Saints, working back from a narrow semifinal loss to win twice in the consolation bracket and take third. He closed his tournament with a 1–0 decision over Lourdes’ Cameron Carter in the medal match.

Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey senior goalie Vanessa Ruban was in net when the Bulldogs took down Trine University…securing the NCHA regular season championship.

Ruban talked to Cave Sports about the victory on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day…

Logan Cook paced Siena Heights at the Hoosier Classic over the weekend. Cook’s performance featured three 200‑plus games — 220, 215 and 215 — as he notched the team’s highest finish in the field.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its All-MIAA team for men’s wrestling on Tuesday afternoon.

Aiden Smith of the Adrian College NCAA men’s wrestling team earned All-MIAA honors at 174 pounds while also being named the MIAA Most Valuable Wrestler. Overall, Smith owns a 20-1 record this season.

Smith will return to the mat for the Bulldogs at the NCAA Division III Central Regional, scheduled for February 27-28 at John Carroll University.

He will look to secure his second Division III Regional Championship and make another run at the NCAA Division III National Championship in Iowa.

The USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews announced their weekly poll on Monday afternoon for NCAA Division III hockey. The Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team dropped a spot in both polls falling to No. 4 by the USCHO and No. 3 by DIIIHockeyNews.

Adrian will return to action this weekend when they host Lake Forest College in the NCHA Harris Cup Quarterfinals on February 20-21 at the Arrington Ice Arena. Both games are scheduled for 2:00 PM, and will be aired on 96.5 The Cave.

USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews released their weekly polls for NCAA Division III women’s hockey on Monday afternoon. The Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey team moved up to No. 8 in the USCHO poll while holding steady at No. 8 in the DIIIHockeyNews rankings.

The Bulldogs will face Trine once again in a two-game rematch during the NCHA Slaats Cup Quarterfinals on February 20-21. Both contests are scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Ian Kramp and Alysia Townsend of the Adrian College Bulldogs track and field team represented the Bulldogs at the opening portion of the Indoor MIAA Championships. The duo competed in the combined events, with Townsend participating in the pentathlon and Kramp competing in the heptathlon.

The Bulldogs will conclude the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships at Trine University on February 27–28. Prior to that, Adrian will travel to Ohio for a meet on Friday, February 20, hosted by the University of Findlay.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, with the Adrian College Bulldogs women’s lacrosse team sweeping by earning recognition for their performance last week.

Senior Jenna Allie was named Offensive Player of the Week. Sophomore Bella Norton was named Defensive Player of the Week. Junior Madeline Turcotte was named Specialist of the Week for her dominance in the midfield.

These three Bulldogs and their squad will be back in action Saturday, February 21 against Milwaukee School of Engineering. Opening Draw set to take place at 3:00 PM.
