Jaxon Salenbien’s 25 points propelled the Lenawee Christian boys basketball team to a 56-42 win over Sand Creek on Thursday night. Eack led the Aggies with 12 points.

The Onsted Wildcats girls basketball team earned a hard-fought 37-30 win over LCAA foe Ida. Hannah Hill poured in 19 points for Onsted. Kayla Gerken chipped in 8 points.

The Blissfield Royals downed the Hudson Tigers in girls basketball on Thursday, 56-31. Leigh Wyman led Blissfield with 18 points and De’Mya Gibbons collected 10 rebounds.
Macayle Grayer led the way for Hudson with 18 points. The Tigers are back on the court Saturday at 3pm against Madison on the road.

The Madison girls basketball team, powered by Mariana Carbajal’s 16 points, defeated Hillsdale 54-28.

The Blissfield Royals boys bowling team rolled to victory against Onsted on Thursday at Ten Pin in Tecumseh, 23-7.
Several individual highlights for Blissfield included:
Preston Iffland with a 217 and 201
Matthew Anderson had a 247 and 204
And Jon Cheney rolled a 202

Senior Night went as planned for the Madison bowling Trojans on Thursday at Lenawee Rec versus Ida, with a pair of wins.
The boys beat the Bluestreaks 27-3, with standout performances by senior Zack Koebbe and Grayson Hill. Koebbe had a 212 and 193, and Hill rolled a 215.
The Madison girls won 30-0 over Ida. Senior Angelina Alvarez rolled a 170 and senior Brianna Cross fired a 137. Vanessa Underwood had the high score, a 174.

Wrestling team districts got underway this week for Lenawee County teams.
Clinton, Hudson, and Onsted all won district titles. Adrian, Tecumseh, Sand Creek, and Addison all lost in district action.

Adrian high school swim and dive defeated Jackson on Thursday, 108.5 to 76.5

The Adrian College men’s wrestling team lost to MIAA foe The University of Olivet in the final MIAA dual of the 2025-26 season, 34-12.
Adrian Rosas, Cole Riedel, and Spence Vos collected wins for the Bulldogs. Adrian College will hit the mat Saturday, as they will head to Alma for the Mid-States Conference.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association coaches selected Adrian College softball to finish second in the league, behind defending national champion Trine University.
Hope College was projected to finish just behind the Bulldogs, who are coming off a strong 2025 campaign, finishing 12-4 in MIAA play and posting a 29-14 overall record.
Adrian will open its season in Florida at the beginning of March.

Tune in tonight for Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey on 96.5 The Cave and 965thecave.com, as the Bulldogs travel to Indiana to take on Trine University. The broadcast, with Ian Wendt, will begin at 6:45pm.
AC is looking to wrap up the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association regular season championship this weekend. The Bulldogs will end their regular season Saturday at Noon with Senior Day at the Arrington Ice Arena.
