It was a split result for the Madison Trojans bowling teams Wednesday night, with the girls team beating Hillsdale, and the boys team falling.
Paige Underwood’s 214 and Angelina Alavez’s 204 led the ladies to a 23-7 victory.
Hayden Downard had a 258 and 216, Lucas Ries threw a 228 and Zack Koebbe had a 210 for the boys in the 17-13 loss.

The Morenci girls basketball team rolled to another Tri-County Conference victory Wednesday, this time over Britton-Deerfield 45-15.
Colbie Ekins led the Bulldogs with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Evelyn Joughin had 11 points and 5 steals.
Dotson paced the Patriots with 6 points. Morenci will host Sand Creek Friday for Senior Night.

The Adrian Maples swim and dive team dominated Ypsilanti on Wednesday, 139-19.
Individual 1st place finishes went to:
Lucas Zeckner in the 200 free, Noah Judson in the 200 IM and 100 free, Ian Baker in the 50 free, Maddox Betz in diving, Kade Opsal in the 100 fly and breast stroke, and Andrew Betz in the 100 back and 500 free.
The Maple relay teams took three first place finishes as well. Those swimmers were:
Chase Rosales, Andrew Betz, Kade Opsal, Wyatt Soule, Collin Chase, Santi Bernal, Owen Salenbien, Maddox Betz, and Lucas Zeckner.

Stand-out student athlete at Blissfield Community Schools, Hope Miller, will receive a scholarship through the MHSAA/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete Award program.

She is carrying a 4.0+ grade point average.

Lauren DeWolf scored 22 points and the Siena Heights women’s basketball team held off a late rally to defeat WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech 64–61 on Wednesday night at the SHU Fieldhouse.
Ty’Veonna Davis added 14 points with six rebounds, and Jam Thigpen posted eight points and 16 rebounds to anchor the Saints inside.

Jack Olis scored 22 points and Jonas Tester added 19 points, but the Siena Heights men’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a second‑half surge from Lawrence Tech and fell 63–58 on Wednesday night at the SHU Fieldhouse.
Tester finished 7 of 14 from the field, knocking down three 3‑pointers to lead Siena Heights, while Olis added seven rebounds.

The Adrian College cornhole team was back in action in another ACL Open.
The Bulldogs were led by Aidan Sicilia who won the Tier 3 Singles Bracket. He finished the weekend with an 8-0 record and will now move up to Tier 2 to compete in a higher division.
Abigail Trepkowski competed in the ACL Blind Draw and was paired up with a non-Adrian individual. Trepkowski and her partner went on to win the Tier 3 Blind Draw.

The Adrian College women’s basketball team lost a hard-fought contest at home against Calvin University Wednesday night, 73–62.
Hannah Lisch led the Bulldogs with 18 points. Ava Schultz recorded 10 points and a team-high six rebounds, while Sophia Bussell contributed 10 points.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, where they will travel to Trine University at 3 PM.

The Adrian College men’s basketball team made a short trip to Calvin University on Wednesday night for an MIAA conference matchup…losing to the Knights, 92–59.
Seth Logan led the Bulldogs with 12 points. Darrius Welch followed with 11 points, four rebounds, two blocks, and two steals, while Carson Lutz also reached double figures with 11 points.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, where they will host Trine University at 3 PM.
