The Blissfield Royals boys bowling team rolled to another LCAA Jamboree win on Saturday.
Alex Kudlac was the only Royal athlete in the 200’s…with a 217 and 214. Madison took second on the boys side…followed by Hillsdale and Hudson.
The Hudson girls won their jamboree…followed by Madison, Onsted, and Clinton.

The Madison boys bowling team took 9th of 36 teams at the Mel Wolf Open in Jackson on Sunday.

The Siena Heights competitive cheer team opened its season securing first place at the first WHAC competition of the schedule.
SHU topped a competitive field that included Lourdes University, Madonna University, Aquinas College, Rochester Christian University, and Cornerstone University.

Siena Heights women’s pole vaulter Emma Stewart tied the indoor-school record, becoming only the second Saint woman to hit 4.07 meters inside while competing Saturday at the Crossroads of America Invitational.
Stewart placed seventh, improving on her previous NAIA auto-mark. She remained No. 1 in the NAIA after competing in a star-studded field in Indy.
Stewart matched the previous SHU record set by Tyler Fugate in 2021.

The Siena Heights men’s indoor track and field team had a trio of middle-distance runners at the Crossroads of America Invitational, highlighted by solid performances from Kyler Pequet and Blake Schroeder.
Kyler Pequet led the Saints in the 600 meters, finishing 11th overall. In the 800 meters, Schroeder recorded the top finish for the Saints, placing 14th.

Jack Olis scored 31 points and Siena Heights men’s basketball pulled away for an 86–78 victory over Defiance College on Saturday afternoon.
Jonas Tester scored 20 points and Nick Sobush added 13 points for SHU.

Lauren DeWolf scored 20 points to lead the Siena Heights women’s basketball team to a 69–46 victory over WHAC opponent Defiance on Saturday afternoon.
Ty’Veonna Davis added 12 points, while Kanyla Tyler finished with 15 points for the Saints.

The Adrian College men’s volleyball earned a straight-sets road victory over North Park on Friday night, sweeping North Park 25-23, 25-18, 25-19 at Carlson Gymnasium.
Sam Landers led the Bulldogs with a match-high 19 kills. Andrew Graczyk directed the offense with 24 assists and added five digs, sharing team-high defensive honors with Dominic Rees.
The ‘Dawgs then dropped a 3-0 match to Dominican on Saturday. Offensively, Adrian was led by Dominic Rees with 7 kills, followed by Sam Landers with 4 and Carson Bell with 3.
The Bulldogs will be back in action this Saturday for their home opener at 7PM as they host Concordia University Chicago.

The Adrian College women’s wrestling team competed at the Warrior Women’s Open, where multiple Bulldogs turned in strong performances and several captured first-place finishes.
Taylor Cutler captured a first-place finish, going a perfect 3–0 with wins by tech fall, pin, and forfeit. Carleigh Czerneski also took the top spot, dominating the 117-pound weight class with a 4–0 record that included a tech fall, two pins, and a decision.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday, where they will travel to Tiffin University for a 6pm dual.

The Adrian College men’s basketball team traveled to Albion College on Saturday afternoon, where the Bulldogs suffered a heartbreaking 80–78 loss in a tightly contested MIAA matchup.
Darrius Welch led Adrian with 19 points. Jeremiah Dallas paced the Bulldogs on the glass with eight rebounds and chipped in eight points.
AC will be back in action on Wednesday at Alma College for a 7pm tip-off.

The Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team wrapped up its series against the University of Dubuque on Saturday afternoon, completing a series sweep with a 5-1 victory.
Brad Somers, Patrick Saini, Jack O’Hanisin, David Clarke and Alec Lovisek scored for the Bulldogs.
Ryan Piros made 14 saves in goal for Adrian.
The Bulldogs return to action on Friday at Saturday, traveling to St. Norbert College for a top-10 matchup. Both games will be aired on 96.5 The Cave.

The Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey team secured all six possible conference points this weekend, thanks to their sweep of the University of Dubuque Spartans at the Arrington Ice Arena.
Head coach Chad Davis talked to Cave Sports about the pair of wins…
We will hear from sophomore defensemen Parker Beyer in a future sportscast, as she had two goals in Saturday’s win against the Spartans. The Bulldogs will host St. Norbert College Friday and Saturday.
