The Tecumseh High School Boys Swim and Dive Team fell to Chelsea on the road Thursday, 118.5 to 66.5.
Tecumseh had 3 first place finishes. Sam Warren led the team with 2 first place finishes, one in the 100 yard Butterfly and the other in the 100 yard Backstroke.
The Swim Tribe’s other first place finish came from the 400 yard Freestyle Relay of Loris DeFore, Max Husband, Brayden DePew, and Sam Warren.
Tecumseh’s next meet is senior night scheduled for next Tuesday at Dundee High School at 5:30pm.

The Lenawee Christian Cougars boys basketball team squeaked past Erie-Mason on Thursday 54-53, securing a Tri-County Conference win.
Jaxon Salenbien had 23 points to lead LCS.

The Blissfield Royals hosted the Dundee Vikings at Rich Lanes in the first meeting of the season between the two on Thursday… winning 29-1.
The Royals took all 10 available Baker Game points. In individual play… Alex Kudlac fired games of 243 and 206, Jon Cheney threw games of 265 and 213, Preston Iffland had a 218, and Matthew Anderson threw a 202

The Adrian College men’s wrestling team hosted Trine University inside the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center on Thursday, honoring the 2025–26 senior class prior to the dual.
The Bulldogs battled wire to wire, but ultimately fell in heartbreaking fashion by a tie-breaker, 21–20.
Landyn Crance sparked the Bulldogs with a dominant technical fall, swinging momentum back in Adrian’s favor. Aiden Smith kept it rolling at 157, securing a pin to further close the gap. At 165, Rickey Lynch added another crucial result with a hard-fought decision victory.
Spencer Vos earned a decision at 184. Trine claimed the 195 bouts, setting up a dramatic finish in the heavyweight division.
With the dual on the line, Scott Smith stepped up at 285 and delivered, winning by decision to tie the score at 20–20. Despite the late surge, Trine was able to claim the overall dual via tie-breaker, handing Adrian a narrow 21–20 defeat.
The Bulldogs are back in action on January 29th, where they will travel to Albion College for a MIAA dual at 7pm.
