The Lenawee Christian Cougars girls basketball team secured a Tri-County Conference win over Summerfield on Monday, 55-40.
Brynn Davis scored 16 points to lead the Cougars. She ripped-down 11 rebounds. London Schmid had 15 points for LCS.

The Britton-Deerfield boys basketball team won a squeaker over East Jackson, 65-64 on Monday night.
Anspach led the Patriots with 26 points. Fortune scored 17 for BD. The win was Britton-Deerfield’s 5th consecutive win after four straight losses to start the season.

Onsted head boys basketball coach Brad Maska recently earned his 300th career coaching victory.
The 19th year coach spoke with Cave Sports about being honored for that achievement on Friday night…something that Maska said was a surprise…
With the Wildcats winning two games last week, Maska is now at career coaching wins number 301 and 302. He took a photo with alumni who were able to make it to the gym on Friday night…
The 11-0 Wildcats are seeking their 5th straight LCAA title.

It was a ‘split’ result for the Adrian bowling teams against Lincoln on Monday night.
The girls fell 29-1. Jose McCaully had the lone Maple point.
The boys rolled to a 25.5 to 4.5 victory. Notable games were rolled by Harrison Boyd…with a 201. Kobe Powers rolled a 196, and Aiden Voelkle shot a 195.

Madison boys and girls bowling teams defeated Hillsdale Monday night at Lenawee Rec in Adrian.
The boys won 25-5. Notable Trojan games by Bently Richard with a 287 and 213. Hayden Downard had a 214 and 201.
The girls swept the Hornets, 30-0. Notable games by: Angie Alvarez with a 205, Vanessa Underwood had a 171, and Paige Underwood fired a 159.

In girls bowling from the weekend… Hudson girls won the Madison Baker Bash, followed by Sturgis, Madison, and Clinton.

Siena Heights women’s pole vaulter Emma Stewart recorded the top height of the 2025-26 season while placing second at the Wolverine Invitational.
Stewart had an NAIA-automatic qualifying height of 4 meters– a personal-best — and placed second in the event.
Kathryn Stewart finished fifth with a provisional mark of 3.55m.

The Siena Heights men’s indoor track and field team had a pair of Top 5 finishes at the Wolverine Invitational.
Calvin Randolph placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 13.72 meters. Tyler Landis was fifth in the 3,000-meter run.

USCHO and D3HockeyNews released their latest national polls on Monday afternoon, and the Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey team climbed two spots to Number 7.
The Bulldogs enter the week with an 11-4-0 record on the season.
Adrian earned a non-conference victory over Trine University on New Year’s Eve before opening the Mustang Cup, with a win against Trinity College. The Bulldogs later fell to Number 3 Amherst College in the Mustang Cup Championship after holding a 1-0 lead late into the third period.
Within the NCHA, St. Norbert College is ranked 14th in the USCHO poll and Number 10 by D3HockeyNews, while Concordia Wisconsin also represents the conference by receiving votes in both polls.
The Bulldogs return to action with a conference road trip to Lake Forest College this weekend. Both Friday and Saturday games will be aired on 96.5 the Cave and 9 6 5 the cave dot com.
