The Clinton Redwolves boys wrestling team won the 48th Dave Elliott Memorial on Saturday.
Zach Taylor, Braxton Randolph, Bryce Randolph, Cliff Jones, and Gradyn Whelan all picked up championship victories.
Tecumseh took second place at the Memorial and Addison finished 7th.

Madison and Sand Creek boys wrestlers had impressive showings at the 62nd Annual Jim Dewland Chaos Classic.
Madison’s Paul McClure took first place, Krys Ramirez finished 4th, Jaxon Kilpatrick was 5th, and Israel Cabrera finished 4th.
Sand Creek’s Nathan Bennett took first place… Wyatt Fox, Tyler Bennett, and Nick Trame took 3rd place…and AJ Murdico finished in 6th place.

The Lenawee Christian girls basketball team took down Plymouth Christian, 45-43.
Brynn Davis paced the Cougars with 17 points and 10 rebounds. London Schmid poured-in 15.

The Britton-Deerfield Patriots boys basketball secured a hard-fought Tri-County win over Morenci on Friday, 57-53.
BD was paced by Anspach with 20 points, Roe with 17, and Allshouse scored 11.
The Bulldogs had a balanced attack. Castillo scored 14, Truse with 13, and Wilkins scoring 12.

The Lenawee Christian Cougars boys basketball team won a dramatic ball game against TCC foe Whiteford on Friday, 61-60.
Jaxson Salenbien paced the Cougars with 19, Kirkendall had 14, and Mathews chipped-in 12 points in the win.

The Onsted Wildcats boys basketball team rolled to a 63-41 win over LCAA foe Hillsdale on Friday, improving their record to 11-0.
Cole Wells led the way with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 steals. Mason Chesser added 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Rylan Henagan chipped in 13 points.
Onsted will host Dundee Tuesday night.

The Madison boys basketball team picked up a LCAA win over Dundee, 44-38.
Junior Tillman and Gavin VanOver each had 12 for the Trojans. Eli Hiatt scored 11 for Madison on Friday night.

The results were split Friday night in Tecumseh between the Indians and rival Adrian Maples on the basketball court…with the Tecumseh girls winning 67-30 and the Adrian boys coming out victorious 57-43.

The Blissfield Royals boys bowling team took home the 3rd Annual Madison Baker Bash over the weekend at Lenawee Rec.
The Royals defeated Adrian in the semifinal round, then Madison in the finals.

The Siena Heights men’s basketball team built a 15-point first-half lead but couldn’t hold off Lourdes, falling 67-63 in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup Saturday at home.
Nick Sobush led the Saints with 20 points. Joshua Wilson chipped in 13 points for Siena Heights, while Jack Olis added nine and Jonas Tester scored 11.

The Adrian College men’s basketball dropped a MIAA home contest to Calvin University on Saturday, 92-68.
Darrius Welch recorded his second consecutive 20-point performance, finishing with 20 points and three rebounds. Luke Rager added 12 points for the Bulldogs, who will be at Hope College Wednesday night.

The Siena Heights women’s basketball late rally came up against Lourdes University, falling in WHAC play, 81-70.
The Saints trailed by as many as 18 in the second half but cut the deficit to single digits in the final minutes behind Ty’Veonna Davis, who scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Davis went a perfect 10-for-10 at the free-throw line.
Lauren DeWolf chipped in 16 points, while Kanyla Tyler added 14 points.

The Adrian College women’s basketball team lost a MIAA road game to Calvin University over the weekend, 61-39.
Morgan Babb led the Bulldogs with 11 points while adding seven rebounds. Aubrie Ickes followed with eight points and six rebounds.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, where they will host Hope College at 7pm.

The Adrian College men’s wrestling team hosted its annual Adrian College Open over the weekend.
Liam Totten, Benjamin Grenesko, and Blake Daniels all had winning records for the Bulldogs.
AC will be back in action on Tuesday, where they will kick-off MIAA Duals against Alma College at 7pm.

The Adrian College Women’s Wrestling team headed to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to compete in one of the most competitive national duals, the NWCA National Duals…finishing the tournament in 11th place.
The Bulldogs defeated Marymount and Albion…and lost to Pacific University, Eastern, and Schreiner University.
The Bulldogs women’s wrestling squad will be back in action on Saturday as they head over the border for the Western Open in London, Ontario.

The Adrian College women’s NCAA hockey players earned the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association three stars of the week for games played December 31st-January 4th.
Courtney Ben, a senior forward from St. Peters, Missouri, had a goal versus Amherst and an assist against Trinity.
Riley Johnson, senior forward from Farmington, Michigan, had four points during the week, netting three goals against Trine.
Kiera Stack, sophomore goalie from Marshfield, Massachusetts, picked up a shutout and two total wins on the week. She had a 92.3 save percentage.
The Bulldogs will play at Lake Forest this weekend.
