Adrian girls bowling lost to Pinckney Thursday, 20-10.
Top Maple bowlers were Izzabell Brown with a pair of 145’s and Brandi Darr with a 139 and 122
Adrian boys bowling beat Pinckney, 28-2.
Top Maple bowlers were Aiden Boelkle with a 235 and 184, Harrison Boyd threw a 217 and 221, and Kobe Powers fired a 214 and 246.

Sand creek girls basketball defeated Britton-Deerfield Thursday, 29-22.
Williams and Steinke each had 11 for the Aggies.

The Lady Tigers improved to 1–1 on the season with a strong performance Thursday, winning their home opener 52–44 over the Jackson Patriots.
Maci Godfrey led the way with 14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal, while Elci Rogers added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and an assist. Sam Anderson contributed 9 points along with 3 steals and an assist, and Taylor Kopin finished with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Macayle Grayer had 6 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals, and Ryen Rogers added 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals to round out the effort. The Lady Tigers are back at home on December 16th, when they open league play against Dundee.

The Tecumseh girls basketball team defeated Dearborn Thursday, 77-53.
Freshman Avery Zajac led the way with 22 points and 4 rebounds. Addi Zajac had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Freshman Delaney Brown added 16 points, Makayla Schlorf poured in 14 points, 3 assists, while Chloe Bullinger added 10 points, 6 assists. Her 6 assists moved her to 2nd all time in Tecumseh History, only behind 2025 grad, Ashlyn Moorehead.
The Indians will head to Belleville on Saturday to play Midland at the Best of Michigan tournament.

Madison boys bowling moved to 4-0 on the season after beating Dundee Thursday, 28-2.
Bently Richard with a 226 and 279, Hayden Downard had a 225, and Lucas Ries threw a 184.
Madison girls bowling also moved to 4-0 this year after blanking the Vikings, 30-0.
Paige Underwood had 159 and Angie Alvarez threw a 153
The first league Jamboree is Saturday in Hillsdale.

Adrian College wrestlers Aiden Smith and Adrian Rosas continue their rise in the national spotlight, climbing in this week’s Open Mat Rankings.
Smith ascended to the No. 1 ranking in the nation at 157 pounds. Smith has put together a phenomenal start to the season, holding a 14–1 record and dominating his most recent competition. At the Messiah-Petrofes Invitational, he went undefeated to claim the 157-pound title, earned Most Outstanding Wrestler honors, and was named MIAA Athlete of the Week.
At 125 pounds, Rosas also made a significant jump, moving from No. 18 to No. 15 in the national rankings. Rosas remains perfect on the season with a 10–0 record, continuing to establish himself as a major contender in his weight class.
Smith and Rosas with the rest of the men’s wrestling team are gearing up for the annual Berg Holiday Duals at Heidelberg University on Saturday.

Siena Heights football defenders A.J. Knox and Clarke Hamilton were selected to the AFCA/NAIA All-America Teams, as announced by the American Football Coaches Association on Thursday.
Knox was named to the AFCA/NAIA All-America Second Team while Hamilton was honored on the Third Team. Both had already been chosen to the All-MSFA Mideast First Team.
