The Blissfield Royals girls basketball team has been the class of the LCAA the last few years, and are aiming towards more success this season.

Head Coach Ryan Gilbert was on the Coaches Preview Show at Skytech Sports Bar in Adrian to talk about his squad….

Coach Gilbert expanded upon his roster construction…

The Royals open their season Tuesday, December 9th at 7pm on the road versus Erie-Mason.

Madison boys and girls bowling rolled to big victories over Onsted.

The Trojans boys won 28-2. Top bowlers were Bently Richard with a 201 and Grayson Hill with a 199.

The Madison girls won over Onsted, 30-0. Top bowlers were Vanessa Underwood with a 169 and Paige Underwood fired at 167.

Madison will travel to Monroe to take on Ida today.

The Adrian Maples boys basketball team defeated Bedford Tuesday, 60-50.

Jaxson Francis led the Maples with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Calvin Polley had 12 points, and Ben Perez chipped in 11.

AHS travels to Madison Friday night for their next game.

Onsted boys basketball traveled to Hanover-Horton and came away with an overtime win over the Comets 75-73.

The Wildcats were led by Cole Wells with 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 steals. Mason Chesser finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 blocks. Bryson Sutherland finished with 11 points and knocked down the game winning free-throws.

Onsted is on the road again Friday night as they head to Quincy for non-conference action.

Jackson Northwest defeated Madison on Tuesday, 65-53. Nate Mullins and Gavin VanOver each had 11 points for Madison.

The Lenawee Christian Cougars boys basketball team lost to Michigan Center, 60-42. Jaxon Salebien paced LCS with 27 points.

Three players scored in double figures and the Tecumseh Indians boys basketball team topped Parma Western on Tuesday, 48-38.

Charlie Palmer had 14, Gabe Abbot netted 10, and Lamar Longabaugh chipped in 10 points for the Tribe.
