The Clinton Redwolves boys basketball team is preparing for their first game of the season next week.

Second year head coach Andrew Davis spoke to Cave Sports about year one for himself on the bench, and a little about this season…

 

Clinton begins their season December 2nd on the road at Manchester.

The Siena Heights women’s basketball team surged past Lawrence Tech for an 84-69 WHAC victory on Tuesday night.

Lauren DeWolf had 24 points and three assists while E’Moni Finch contributed 19 points.

Kanyla Tyler added 17 points and three assists while Jam Thigpen compiled a double-double worth 15 points and 13 rebounds.

SHU trailed most of the night before running past the Blue Devils in the second half.

The Siena Heights men’s basketball team dropped a 62-46 contest to WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech on Wednesday.

Jonas Tester scored 14 points while Jack Olis and Danilo Rajlic made seven rebounds apiece.

SHU will return to play with a 1 p.m. home game against Miami-Middletown on Saturday.

The Adrian College women’s basketball team hosted Wittenberg University on Tuesday night inside the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center, coming up just short in a 69–62 battle.

Aubrie Ickes led the Bulldogs with 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, and was outstanding at the line, hitting 10 of 11 attempts. Morgan Babb added 13 points, a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, December 10th where they will kick off MIAA play at The University of Olivet. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

The Adrian College men’s basketball team traveled to Central Michigan University for an exhibition matchup, where the Bulldogs fell 112–67.

Seth Logan led Adrian with 23 points and one rebound, while Darrius Welch added 16 points along with a team-high eight rebounds in a solid performance.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, December 6th where they will head to Denison University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.

The USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews released their Week 4 polls on Monday afternoon for NCAA Division III women’s hockey, and the Adrian College women’s team has climbed to No. 8 in both rankings following a dominant road sweep of Lawrence University.

The Bulldogs now stand at 6-2-0 overall and a perfect 6-0-0 in NCHA play.

Despite suffering their first loss of the season, UW–River Falls remains No. 1 in both national polls. NCHA rival St. Norbert College holds the No. 7 spot with a 6-2-0 record, while Concordia Wisconsin is receiving votes in both rankings.

The Bulldogs return to action on the road December 5–6 when they travel to Wisconsin to face the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

The week four National Poll for NCAA Division III men’s hockey was released Monday afternoon, and the Adrian College men’s hockey team remains ranked No. 4 by both USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews.

The Bulldogs hold a 6-2-0 overall record and are 4-2-0 in NCHA play. Adrian is coming off an impressive home sweep of Lawrence University, earning wins of 8–1 and 7–3.

Hobart tops the national poll with all 20 first-place votes. NCHA rival Aurora University sits at No. 2, followed by St. Norbert at No. 3. Trine drops to No. 11 in the DIIIHockeyNews rankings and No. 12 in the USCHO.com poll.

The Bulldogs will have a weekend off before returning to home ice against the Milwaukee School of Engineering on December 5–6.

The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association has announced its Three Stars of the Week for both men’s and women’s hockey, with two Adrian College athletes earning recognition. Riley Johnson of the NCAA women’s hockey team and Ian Amsbaugh of the NCAA men’s hockey team were each honored for their standout performances.

Johnson, a senior from Farmington, Michigan, delivered an exceptional weekend to help the Bulldogs sweep Lawrence on the road. She scored a goal in Friday night’s opener before erupting for five points on Saturday, finishing the series with four goals and an assist in an 8–1 victory.

Amsbaugh, a junior from Bottineau, North Dakota, also played a pivotal role in guiding the Bulldogs to a weekend sweep of Lawrence University. He tallied four assists in Friday’s 8–1 win and followed up with a goal and an assist in the series finale, giving him six points on the weekend.

The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams were released on Monday.

Nine members across the Adrian College men’s and women’s soccer teams were recognized for their academic and athletic excellence.

Nick Miller, Kyle Peterson, and Owen Soper of the Men’s Soccer team each made it on the CSC Academic All-District list. Bri Aikens, Katelyn Stanton, Delaney Batur, Annamarie Fosmoen, Teagan Bergeron, and Alanna Earl of the Women’s Soccer team each made it on the CSC Academic All-District list as well.

Athletes needed to have a 3.50 GPA or higher, be at least a sophomore academically, and compete in 90% of games OR start in 66% of games.

Adrian College Skating traveled to Norwood Massachusetts to compete at the 2025 Boston Classic.

Adrian College Collegiate Varsity SST competed against 6 teams, and placed 3rd with a total score of 80.32 points. Adrian College Open Collegiate Varsity SST competed against 9 teams, and placed 1st with a total score of 37.32.
