The Hudson Tigers football team ran all over Allen Park Cabrini Saturday afternoon in the Division 8 state semifinal round at Adrian College, moving them on to Ford Field to play for a state championship Friday morning.

The offensive and defensive lineman for the Tigers were awarded the DS Johnson and Associates Service First Insurance Group players of the game. Coach Rogers thought they should get even more than that…

The Siena Heights women’s basketball team lost a 62-60 WHAC contest to Michigan-Dearborn over the weekend at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Lauren DeWolf led the Saints with 25 points. Josette Zuvers added 10. SHU will return to play Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. WHAC game at Lawrence Tech.

The Siena Heights men’s basketball team fell to Michigan-Dearborn, 95-91, in WHAC competition over the weekend at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Joshua Wilson scored 24 points and Jack Olis added 22 points and eight rebounds for SHU. Siena Heights will return to play Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with a WHAC matchup at Lawrence Tech.

Adrian College ACHA Division One men’s hockey coach Gary Astalos secured his 300th career win over the weekend when the 5th ranked Bulldogs swept conference foe…25th ranked Davenport University.

The Adrian College women’s basketball team hosted Otterbein University for a non-conference matchup on Saturday, coming up short, 68-57.

Morgan Babb led the way with a team-high 20 points, adding two rebounds and four assists. Hannah Lisch followed with 14 points, two boards, and three assists.

The Bulldogs will stay at home as they will welcome Wittenberg University on Tuesday for a 6pm tip-off.

The Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team capped off its weekend series with Lawrence University in dominant fashion, earning a 7–3 victory on Saturday to complete the sweep.

The Bulldogs now enter a bye week before returning home to host MSOE on December 5th and 6th at home.

The Adrian College NCAA women’s hockey team closed out its road series at Lawrence University with authority on Saturday afternoon, earning an 8–1 victory to complete the weekend sweep.

Riley Johnson paced Adrian with a five-point outing, with three goals and two assists. The Bulldogs will have a week off before returning to action on the road against MSOE on December 5th and 6th.

The Adrian College men’s wrestling team traveled to the Concordia University Wisconsin Invite, where several Bulldogs turned in strong performances across multiple weight classes.

At 157, Aiden Smith finished as the runner-up with a 4–1 record. Smith’s victories came by two decisions, a major decision, and a tech fall. In the 174-pound bracket, Calob Heilman went 3–1 with wins by tech fall, pin, and major decision.

The 285-pound group saw Blake Daniels earn a pair of victories—one by decision and one via bye—to finish 2–2.

The Bulldogs men’s wrestling team will be back in action on December 5th and 6th.
