Three radio stations in the Lenawee Multi Media Network will carry first round games of the 2025 MHSAA playoffs.
John Koehn will broadcast the Adrian Maples hosting the Lincoln Railsplitters game on 103.9 WLEN Friday night. Jeff Bowman will head to Clinton to carry the Redwolves game against Whiteford.
Ian Wendt will broadcast the Hudson Tigers home game against Centerville in first round action on 95.3fm WQTE.

Tecumseh volleyball has been on a roll this season, and are looking for another deep playoff run. One of their contributors is Lilly Gnotke, who was recently named the Iott Insurance Athlete of the Week on 96.5 The Cave.
Gnotke picked up career assist number 2,000 this season. She talked about where it all began…back in middle school…

Siena Heights defensive lineman A.J. Knox was named Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Defensive Player of the Week.
Knox totaled seven tackles and three sacks during Saturday’s 45-21 win over Madonna. With that performance, Knox now owns the Siena Heights record for sacks in a single season at 10.

The Week 8 rankings for NCAA Division III football were released on Monday by D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association.
The Adrian College football team dropped out of the national top-25 but continues to receive votes in both polls, earning 10 voting points in each.
Adrian sits at 6-1 overall and 3-1 in MIAA play. The Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday, falling 19-17 to Hope College.
The Bulldogs will face Kalamazoo College, Trine University, and Alma College to close out the regular season.

The Adrian College NCAA men’s hockey team took-down Trine University in a home exhibition game this weekend, besting the Thunder 5-2. The Bulldog locker room has been named after a supporter of the program, who recently passed away… Chris Whaley.
Cave Sports asked head coach Adam Phillips about what it means for this program to have his name on the locker room door…
In other Bulldog exhibition hockey, the NCAA women’s team traveled to Trine and shut out the Thunder, 6-0. Both teams open regular season play this weekend on the road.

The Adrian College women’s bowling team opened its 2025–26 season this past weekend, competing in the first American Heartland Bowling Association event of the year. The Bulldogs put together a strong showing to finish 15th overall.
Leading the way for Adrian was Mara Knochs, who placed 34th individually. Carley Krauss was 40th, followed by Victoria McLaughlin in 50th.
The Bulldogs are back in action on November 9th where they will compete in the Halo Classic.

The Adrian College men’s bowling team kicked off its 2025–26 season over the weekend, competing in the first two events of the American Heartland Bowling Association series. The Bulldogs placed 19th in AHBA #1 on Saturday and 18th in AHBA #2 on Sunday.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs on Saturday was Dominic Mendoza, who finished 50th individually. He once again led the team on day two with a 60th place finish.
The Bulldogs are back in action on November 9th where they will compete in the Halo Classic.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association has released its Preseason Division III Men’s Coaches Poll. The Adrian College Bulldogs enter the rankings at number 23.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs is reigning MIAA MVP Aiden Smith, who opens the season ranked number two nationally at 157 pounds. He earned All-American honors last season after finishing fourth at the NCAA Division III Championships.
Adrian also features four wrestlers earning regional recognition: Adrian Rosas, Aiden Smith, Spencer Vos, and Blake Daniels.
