
Adrian, MI – Many Lenawee County cross country runners will be competing at Michigan International Speedway at the MHSAA state championship races thanks to their efforts in regional play this weekend.
Both boys and girls teams from Adrian and Blissfield qualified as teams, with the lady Royals capturing the regional title.
Adrian’s boys team includes Moises Salazar Jr., Parker Smith, Easton Coscarelli, Carter Fenner, Landin Fisher, Lucas Zeckner, and Edward Hedrick.
Adrian’s girls team includes Ayda Skeels, Madison Petty, Karina Mihai-Grammes, Astrid Leininger, Klair Baker, Nancy Gordon, and Haylee Vore.
Here is the Blissfield boys team: Michael Weidmayer, Noah Sills, Beckett Klump, Brady Bills, Kaleb Stutzman, Braedyn Tennant, and Nathanial Cole.
The Blissfield girls team includes: Hope Miller, Anna Hallett, Hailey Sills, Natalie Benitez, Mollie Yeager, Kaleea Braun, and Revan Ricker.
Several Lenawee County cross country runners qualified for States as individuals:
Tecumseh: Eli Morris
Madison: Trenton Fetter and Paul McClure
Clinton: Haiden Bennett, Josslyn Handy, and Grace Farrell
Hudson: Blake Aube, Annabelle Czeiszperger, Taylor Kopin, Miley Rising, and Naika Rath.
Addison: Tony Gudakunst and Ellie Woodring
Lenawee Christian: Jacob Tatsak
The state finals begin with the Division 4 girls race at 9:30am Saturday, November 1st at Michigan International Speedway.
