Adrian, MI – The Adrian College men’s soccer team secured a 1-0 victory over Trine University on Tuesday night at Docking Stadium. The game was broadcast on 96.5fm The Cave.
After a scoreless first half marked by back-and-forth possession and key saves from goalkeeper Eli Sizemore, the Bulldogs broke through in the 74th minute on a free kick by senior forward Kyle Jennings.
Sizemore turned in a standout performance between the posts, stopping all five shots he faced to record his second shutout of the year.
With the win, Adrian improves to 5-10-1 overall and 3-1-1 in conference play, while Trine drops to 1-11-2 and 0-3-1 in conference.
