Lenawee County College Football Check-In: Five Regular Season Games Remain for AC & SHU

Adrian, MI – Both local college football teams are half-way through their 2025 seasons. Adrian College is the only remaining unbeaten MIAA team this season (5-0, 2-0 MIAA), and Siena Heights University (2-3, 0-0 MSFA-Mid East) has their MSFA-Mideast League opener Saturday at home.

The 5-0 Adrian College football team had a ‘bye’ week on Saturday…another week to prepare for the final five games of the regular season.

The Bulldogs are in the ‘Receiving Votes’ category of the D3Football.com rankings, ahead of MIAA opponent Alma, and behind Number 19 ranked Hope. Adrian has yet to play those two teams yet this season, but a date with upstart Calvin University is on the calendar for this Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs have one of the best statistical defenses in all of Division Three football…and their Defensive Coordinator Chad O’Brien was a guest on the AC All-Access Show Monday night at Fricker’s in Adrian.

He talked to host Ian Wendt about his coaching path…how he got to this position on the staff at Adrian College…

Siena Heights University football dropped another tough game Saturday, this time on the road against St. Xavier, 26-20.

SHU head coach Matt Kohn was a guest on Inside the Cave Monday morning to talk about the game. He was proud of his squad all afternoon…
