The Madison Trojans girls golf team recently hosted a Jamboree at Wolf Creek Golf Course…finishing third.
Three golfers finished in the top 10… Juliana Leonard, Alexis Velasquez, and Karissa O’Neill. The trojans travel to Devil’s Lake Golf Course on Wednesday September 10th, to compete in the Onsted Jamboree.

The Hudson Boys Cross Country Team placed 7th at the Homer invitational on Saturday, with Blake Aube leading the team in 7th place, followed by Jericho Borck in 34th place
Hudson Girls Cross Country Team placed 3rd at the Homer Invitational with Annabelle Czeiszperger leading the team in 6th place… followed by Taylor Kopin in 18th place.

Adrian boys soccer lost to Temperance Bedford 4-1 over the weekend. Nate Wojcik had the Maple goal, assisted by Donovan Lilly. Nolan Wood had five saves for Adrian.

Blissfield boys and girls ran at Willow metro park this weekend. The girls team came in 1st in their division and the Boys came in 2nd in their division.

The Britton Deerfield boys cross country team recently had two runners achieve personal best performances… Andrew Calvert and Donavon Calvert.

The Siena Heights women’s volleyball team competed in the Indiana-Kokomo Invitational over the weekend, finishing with a 1-3 record at the event.
SHU defeated Indiana-South Bend, but lost to Campbellsville, Cumberlands, and Indiana-East.
The Saints will be back in action Wednesday with a 7 p.m. WHAC home match against Cornerstone.

Parker Cheney’s penalty-kick goal lifted the Siena Heights women’s soccer team back into the winning column as the Saints downed non-conference opponent Bethel over the weekend at O’Laughlin Stadium.
Cheney converted her PK during the seventh minute and that score held the rest of the way. The game-winner was the ninth of Cheney’s collegiate career, moving her into a tie for ninth all-time in Siena Heights women’s soccer history.
Saints goalkeeper Sydney Eads tallied four saves for her second shutout of the year.
SHU returns to action next on Wednesday when it goes on the road to face non-conference opponent Goshen at 7 p.m.

The Siena Heights football team saw a 20 point first half lead vanish in the second, losing their opener on the road to top-25 ranked St. Francis Indiana 21-20.

The Adrian College women’s soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over Otterbein University this weekend, improving to 3-1.
Ashley Hughes scored the lone goal… in the first half on a pass from Delaney Batur. Katelyn Stanton made 4 saves for the Bulldogs to earn the victory in goal.
The Adrian College women’s soccer team will host Madonna University at Docking Stadium on Tuesday for their next match at 4 PM.

The Adrian College men’s soccer team fell 2–0 to DePauw University on the road over the weekend.
DePauw opened the scoring in the 39th minute and 63rd minute. Senior goalkeeper Eli Sizemore recorded 4 saves. The Dogs will be back on the pitch Tuesday at home versus Defiance College at 7PM.

The Adrian College women’s volleyball team wrapped up play at the Oberlin Invitational on Saturday afternoon, going 1 and 2 in the event.
The Bulldogs beat the College of Wooster in straight sets, then lost in straight sets to both Grove City College and Oberlin College. AC will be back in action on Saturday, September 13 where they will host Lawrence Tech for their home opener at 1 PM.

The Adrian College football team went viral over the weekend after picking up a season-opening win over Division 1 FCS opponent Valparaiso 10-7. Noah Beaudrie hit Ethan Abberger in the end zone with 26 seconds remaining for the go-ahead score.
Ethan Burrows picked off Valpo quarterback Rowan Keefe on the next drive to secure the victory for the Bulldogs.
