Lenawee County, MI – The Michigan High School Athletic Association held their state championships over the weekend, with many Lenawee County athletes earning All-State Honors…
In Division Two:
Adrian’s Moises Salazar was 6th in the 3200 meter run
In Division Three:
Onsted’s Emmry Ross won the 400, 800, and 1600 meter runs
Mitchell Hiatt took 4th in the 1600 meters, and was 2nd in the 3200
Aidan Paquin was 7th in the 100 meters
Mason Chesser was 8th in the high jump
And the Wildcat’s 4-by-200 (Chase Fetzer, Aidan Paquin, Connor Kish, and Griffin Amthor) and 4-by-400 meter relay (Raegan Brosamer, Izzy Cunningham, Hadley Ross, Emmry Ross) teams earned All-State honors
Blissfield’s Hope Miller was 2nd in the 800 meter and 3rd in the 1600 meter runs
Jackson Vandenbusche took 8th in the 800 meter run
Peyton Tennant was 8th in the shot put
And the Royal’s 4-by-800 meter relay team (Hailey Sills, Kaleea Braun, Anna Hallett, and Hope Miller) also earned All-State honors
Clinton’s Mason Brodie was 7th at the Discus

Trenton Fetter took 6th in the 1600 meter and 5th in the 3200 meter runs
JaLonn Border was 8th in the Pole Vault
Derrell Tillman secured 8th in the Long Jump
The Trojan’s 4-by-100 relay team (Elijah Crete, Wade Garza, JaLonn Borders, and Dominic Velasquez) placed as an All-State group
Hudson’s Naika Rath placed 4th in the 100 meter, 5th in the 200 meter, and 3rd in the 400 meter runs
Colton Natale was 8th in the shot put
In Division 4…
Addison’s Molly Brown took 1st place in the 100 meter run, 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles. Brown finished 3rd in the long jump
Morenci’s Kevin Kaufman was 6th in the pole vault
Zoey Martinez took 5th in Discus
Lenawee Christian’s Brenner Powers was 2nd in the long jump
The 4-by-100 (Ema Crowley, Riley Harrah, Emerson Holsopple, and Gigi Masters) and 4-by-200 meter relay teams (Gigi Masters, Ila Stewart, Izzy Brooks, and Riley Harrah) were All-State
